Hung it with a new feeder and it looked and worked great, but within a month it was lying on the ground after a windy night. The hook is made of plastic, unlike the dome, so naturally it broke. I can't believe they would make the most critical part out of plastic and not mention it in the specifications. I returned it for a refund.

After reading some of the reviews for the other available options on HomeDepots website I decided to give this Baffle a try. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality construction. It comes with a small chain (metal not plastic) to hang your feeder but you will need a second chain to hang the baffle from a limb. (unless you will be using the pole mount method) At any rate, we have been using this baffle for over a week now and our squirrels have approached it only a couple of times. After investigating they turn away and go searching for food elsewhere. Great product that does what it says it does -baffle squirrels!
