Note that you CAN eliminate ALL of the tube extensions to make this a flush fixture. You have to disassemble it from the base. You have to reverse the short piece with the swivel joint. I had to stare at it for a few minutes to figure it out. It would be nice if the instructions showed you how to do it - But this is not its intended installation, so it's not really a fault. I do think it a fault not to supply a rotating bracket for this fixture. In order to make it square to the walls, there's a good chance you will have to spring for a rotating bracket to replace the one supplied. I decided it was close enough to 45 degrees to look good that way (see pictures). My glass-half-full way of way of seeing it is that I would not have thought of installing it this way and it looks good displaying two surfaces. We needed a fixture in the stair hall outside the powder room to go with the square semi flush fixture from this series we put inside the front door. They look great. They are made well; better than expected. And a very good value.

I installed it on a sloped ceiling,and I just used the globe part with a corded swag light. It looks very nice.

The lights are very nice and well made. I was disappointed that the decorative nuts (2 on each fixture) that attach to the outside of the piece that is flush with the ceiling were different on the two lights I bought. I had to go to a hardware store and search for and buy 4 nuts that were the same.

Very nice, fits in with the new kitchen well- craftsman like.

This is a very small fixture with very pretty glass however it has sub-par leading. It does have a means to mount it on a slanted ceiling which is nice, but it is too small and offers little light for my intended use. If I had kept the packaging, I would return it.

Where it is yellowish in the picture, turned out to be yellow green.

I purchased 4 of these hanging pendant lights to hang over a kitchen peninsula. I was very pleased to discover they looked even nicer than the online image and the colors were true to the photos online. I feared they might appear cheap or plastic-looking but they did not. The quality is great. Although not one of the features, I was able to rather easily modify the length by removing one of the rod segments. It took a little work but it allowed me to place the lights at the perfect height for my counter top. I would not suggest doing this unless you're comfortable doing a little re-wiring. I needed them to hang at 23 inches.

These lights worked out very well for my project. I especially liked that the pendant rod is in 3 pieces so it was easy to install with a shorter drop. I was also pleased that the base is articulated so it can hang from a tilted surface like my open ceilings. The glass did feel a bit like plastic but upon checking, they are in fact made from real glass. The foil leading is a bit sloppy so these would be better up higher where you wouldn't see that.

Was a little concerned about buying these on-line without seeing them. Worked perfectly in our kitchen remodel and they add so much to the decor. I had them installed with a dimmer switch - so they can be very bright for task lighting or mellow for entertaining/mood lighting.

I placed this light in a small entrance vestibule. I didn't use the rods provided and mounted the light to the ceiling, due to the door swing. It looks fantastic in the 1930s bungalow.

I'm so pleased with these mini-pendant lights, they offer simple charm yet add such class to the room. They don't give off as much light as I would have liked but they are over a center island so the light is directed straight down addig enough focus on the island. They couldn't be more beautiful!
