I searched the internet for exactly this type of saddle after I found that my local contractor supplier did not have this item. Home Depot had it online. I assumed that it would work but the quality of fabrication much exceeded my expectations. The guage of the material was thicker than i was expecting and it was very well sealed at the joint. I was a little concerned that it might not be able to conform to my 8" diameter duct but it was no problem at all. It is definitely designed to be flexible and would probably fit a 10" or 12" diameter duct even easier. The adhesive seal on the inside helped to seal without any leaks. I can definitely recommend this product without any hesitation.

The saddles that I used on the 12" to 6" pipe were great. Easy to install and connect. Would use them again.

used on 8 " round duct, worked OK with some bending of the flanges. Gasket held it in place but I also screwed it down.

High quality, but didn't fit well on 8" rigid duct. Looks like it would fit better on larger duct.

I used this saddle take off for 8-inch and 11-inch ducts and it worked fine. I screwed it as well as used the attached adhesive strip. It also arrived promptly when ordered.

The flange is flexible enough to tightly fit most common duct sizes. The gasket stuck well to clean metal but the glue wasn't any better than most peel-and-stick foams so be sure to screw these on and tape the edges. Price wise, these were the cheapest found from a variety of sources without buying in bulk.
