Just what I Expected
The fireplace is very attractive and just the right size for my room. It really puts out a lot of heat and with the door to my room closed can keep my bedroom warm.

Fireplace arrived very quickly!! Assembly was moderately easy, about an hour. Fan is quiet, but log switch is way too noisy
The heater works well, unfortunately, the metal door to manually turn on or off gets too hot to touch, but you can use the remote. The log switch, when turned on, is so noisy, we can hear it all over the house, so we can have the heater and fan on, but not the log flicker. I would have returned it, but didn't want to go through the hassle and put another one together.
