Doesn't assembly properly. The top doesn't screw into the sides correctly causing them to blow out

this is the worst nothing is safr and there ia nothing to secure matress to frame hardware do not match pre drilled holes piece of crap....

Took over four hours to assemble. Was sent one wrong part so now one side has no finish and has the unfinished wood facing outwards. Most of the parts don’t line up correctly so screwing in the screws is very difficult. Avoid at all costs. I wish I could get my money back.

This is a great bed for the price. It's nice looking and simple. The drawers underneath are great for extra storage. It was exactly what I was looking for.

It was very easy to assemble. Instructions were easy to read. I was able to do the entire thing pretty much by myself. Some of the corners on a few pieces were damaged in shipment. However, customer service was great at southshore and they were quick to send replacement parts free of charge. It was the pieces up top that form the platform, so we went ahead and assembled everything, knowing that those would be easy to replace when the others arrived. Even with the slight inconveniene of having to get those pieces replaced, it was definitely worth the purchase.

southshore beds are garbage.. DO NOT BUY. They are flimsy and will break.

Missing parts, thanks fully the Home Depot store had spare parts for me to assemble it. On top of that the bed is already breaking when it says it can handle 400 pounds

Got pretty much all the way through assembling up until the drawers. We weren’t sent the correct package with the screws we needed for it..sucks bc now we have to go looking for pieces that will work

The wood was press wood and did not hold together well it fell apart the second day and I had to buy a new fram.

The box ended up getting water damage after it got delivered because it rained, so because of that, when it came down to bringing it inside, I had to destroy the box just so I could bring in the pieces. Now that I have it all inside, it took a minute for me to finally get around to assembling it, but even though I know I put all the pieces together in the one spot, I'm missing boards, hardware, and received duplicates of what looks like there should be one of. I can't even use the frame.

I guess you get what you pay for. The quality of the wood and laminate is very poor, and cheap. If I knew that was the case I would not have bought it. Too bad they don't specify the thickness of the wood. I wish they have a nationally standardized quality rating.

I had issues with the bed and couldn’t get no help so I threw it away don’t buy this bed

The instructions were confusing, the holes didn’t match the pieces they had to be drill in, so we couldn’t put some of the screws. Besides, the whole structure makes a creaking noise everytime we move on the bed… and the drawers are very small, barely any soace to ‘store’ anything…

I've had for 3 months and the top middle panel already collapsed in. Now we have a bed frame that had a dip in the middle of the bed and it creaks

It is difficult to put it too together. It not good wood.

Very poor quality. One of the support pieces broke as I had it all setup. Not sure if I have to take it apart to return or if that one piece can be replaced.

Easy to put together

The holes didn't like up in one piece causing damage to base. If you ever need to move this bed completely to heavy and not practical ...would have to take apart each screw and undo whole bed! Poor design !

Poor design for sure, but hey they all cant be great.. pain in the butt to undo an send back so we are dealing with it.

Not sure what most people are saying about south shore products. If you built it right. You will not have any issues. Their products are fun to assemble as will I really enjoyed it. And follow all instructions including playing music lol. Use a power tool but make sure not to go too hard on it. Mine is very sturdy. It's cheap and if you take care of it. It will last.

Never buy again! It's worthest bought in my life

Was disappointed with the quality, basically cheap particle board.

Fell apart in less than 3 months. Waste of money
