Easy to install and cut-outs can be done with a dremel. Super product. The look is warm and so professional. The small chunks of granite are really easy to trim, if necessary. We couldn't be happier!

I wanted to trim my outdoor kitchen in real stone but it had to fit into some small places and couldn't be too big or heavy. This mosaic tile was perfect for the job and the color matched exactly. Your customer service people were very helpful and knowledgable, they really pointed me in the right direction.

My installer struggled with it for about 5 hours, and the area to be covered was small. Pricey - 10 squares for over $200/box. Has a great look, though.

Solidtone tile very nice. Home Depot customer service desk is very unorganized, one box was broken, there was not attempt to reorder

Love this stone. It was fairly easy to work with too. A grinder was easier to use than a wet tile saw because of the mesh backing.

This tile was very hard to work with. The tile appears to be easy to put together (each square fitting together like a puzzle) but it didn't fit together and left obvious lines on the wall where each piece was. The tiles have mesh backing and while lifting the tile from the box small pieces fell off. Overpriced for the quality!! Don't waste your money or time!

Love it in my kitchen. I ordered enough so all would match. I needed17 sq feet and got 20 sq. Ft. Had just enough.Did not need grout just mastic got 3 tubs. Had to use cutting tools to cut some in half to fit near cabinets it all fits well. Hope this helps,really recommended for kitchen

I applied these tiles to a fireplace surround after removing plain grey slate. It turned out better than I thought it would! Use the adhesive for stone (not tile); and the best part is that grout is unnecessary. You will def. need a wet saw tile cutter; I used the nipper for a few adjustments of pieces. Cutting the back was easy with a utility knife. Once the tile was installed, I realized the scattered shiny marble pieces highlight the final job!

Even though I ordered the tile several months ago have now just getting it installed. I have it professionally installed. The installer said the tile is beautiful but fragile. One complaint is the seams are not tight and had to disguise the seams.

This is a Great example of why you always order enough for waste. Ording enough means that you'll have some of your product (whatever the occasion may be) so you can match, replace, and/or finish.

Precision cut stone. Consistent quality. Highly recomoend this product. Beautiful stone.

The tile itself is beautiful but the mesh and paper backing on it was so cheap that when I made my first cut with a tile saw the sheet literally fell apart and SEVERAL of the tiles fell off. They do not include any installation instructions so I went to the manufacturers website which basically said to consult a professional. Well a professional would have had the same thing happen when they put it on the surface of a wet saw. Anyway, the work around was to tape the underside with along all for sides and then tape the front on either side of the cut you are going to make. This is quite neccessary because the minute the backing gets wet the tiles start popping off making it difficult to get a clean cut. It worked. I love the tile I just felt like the manufacturer cheaped out using a flimsy backing for a stone tile mosaic.

I used this Solistone product for my kitchen backsplash. The product went up fast however since it is a mosiac you had to be careful not to strip off the small stones when handling them. Even if some of the stones came off, they were easily replaced with a little of thin set. Along those same lines, you have to be cafeful when cutting on a tile saw. This product has greatly increased the value of my kitchen

I like it but it was tougher to install because of the inter-locking sides tight fit.The result was a seam that seemed somewhat visable. Make sure you have a professional installation done. We do like it.

This product is VERY fragile so be gentle when working with it. Once installed, however it looks fantastic! As long as you have a trusted, patient, experienced installer I would recommend this product.

I have wasted a month having a incomplete kitchen wall due to not being able to obtain matching color on same part #. Wasting shipping costs and return fees. Very dissapointed. May have to remove wall to find something else.

The pictures don't do this tile justice. The tile is an interesting combination of textures, colors and dimensions. Check out the Solistone web site for pictures on installs. Just like an opera, it is complex and beautiful. We have a 114 year old house. This tile completed the historic look without being dated. The tile is a collection of small pieces, so at times it was like working with mosaic tiles, but all in all installation was not too difficult. Once the sealer was applied, the tile took on it's full potential.
