This unit worked as expected only after following instructions about fully charging the batteries.

I bought this unit to monitor the humidity levels in my apt as I had recently purchased a humidifier. I have not been using it long enough to test the true life of the solar recharging batteries but the unit seems to be working great thus far. It has low light shut off modes to conserve power and what not. Overall a good product if your just looking to compare indoor and outdoor temperatures or monitor your himidity.
