I and my wife just love these lanterns!! We have had these lanterns for about 10 years now!! Yes, after about four years you have to replace them because their out in the hot sun and if you keep in out in the winter it is very cold. We bring ours inside in the winter. I and my wife just love them and get yours today! Your yard is appearance is very important so i choose these to welcome my guest

I purchased four (4) solar lamps. Followed the instructions on charging the batteries. Three of the four are very dim and the fourth doesn't light. Stay away from this product. Pat
