I've purchased two sets and in doing so I've noticed a lack of consistency with the illumination and with the longevity. I like the aesthetics and the lighting pattern but the overall quality could be improved. Given the price point I'll probably buy more as needed...

This light is a cut above all others and you won't go wrong buying this light. I have had the inferior plastic solar lamps; they work, but the glass lens on these lights gives a sparkle that no others provide. This is my second batch of lights that I have purchased, replacing the cheaper plastic solar lights. With a 400+ foot driveway in a very remote low light area you just cannot go wrong with these lights and they stay lit through the longest nights of the year; I have actually noticed that on a strong full moon the solar system is so sensitive that it elevates the lumens on the light throughout the night. One thing that I did notice on my 1st batch of lights is that the solar lens covers have tarnished a little but it has not affected the performance of the light. As a precaution I did buy the extended warranty in the event that something did go wrong; the price is right... and you cannot go wrong with the quality warranty provided through Home Depot.

These are cheaply made and last about a year, maybe 18-24 months if you replace the battery, before the photovoltaic cells and sensors stop functioning reliably. I have a dozen or so illuminating the planter around the perimeter of by backyard, and I buy a box or two each year to replace the lights that have ceased functioning.Bottom line is that for fifty bucks a year, they're a relatively low-maintenance and inexpensive alternative to installing hard-wired landscape lights. (Oh, and this box had one light that malfunctioned even before being placed.)

I love these solar LED black lanterns; they can hang or sit on the provided pedestal. This is my third set, (I keep adding to the ones I have) and with the glass they are heaver and seem to last longer than the plastic ones. I have lined my backyard with them and in the evening it is like a postcard.

Lights were very easy to install, they look great and put off nice light! Could be a little brighter, not bad though!

We purchased 1 set of these lights in April to see if they were going to be right enough for our purposes ~ our neighborhood doesn't have streetlights and it's VERY dark at night ~ and were very pleased with the amount of light the put out. I went back to the store and purchased 3 more sets.. they now pretty much surround our home and we couldn't be more pleased with the look and the light they provide. We've had no problems with them at all.

On the first day they lasted for maybe 3 hours after dusk. Each day it gets a little shorter. Have only had them for 5 days and they only last for a couple of hours before they are out. Out of 6 I already have 2 failed lights

three of the posts were not in the box which had obviously been opened and returned previously. Upon calling Home Depot and Hampton Bay, I was informed that these were out of stock and no replacement parts were available. I was offered that I could return them to the store but that a replacement set would not be available. Fortunately, we had the option of hanging several of the lamps from hooks.

Stylish lights that are great for your yard. However sometimes they don't shine that brightly. Also the base is fragile and can break sometimes when you move it. Overall, I like them though. I wish yo could buy a 2-pack or at least a 4-pack for replacements.

The package arrived heavily damaged and was taped back together on one corner. Surprisingly none of the lanterns were damaged but one of the poles and stakes was missing. I imagine this either happened during shipment or was a return that was put back on the shelves. The lights themselves are little champs. Even the ones that get little sunlight are bright in the evening. They make nice accent lights around the patio. If you need them for a pathway they may not be what you are looking for. I did contact Home Depot regarding the missing piece. It took several phone numbers and waiting to get anyone and when I did the lights were out of stock and they really could not help me and then I got disconnected. I found nowhere on their website where I could email customer service. So there is one light I cannot put in the ground.

Box came smashed 4 light broken 2 stakes missing. Got charged for a archon box, 2 lights didn't work.

The lights are attractive and give off a nice glow after dark.

Love these lights and the shine pattern they display. Seem better made then the ordinary box store lights that you usually see. They are still dimly lit each morning when we get up. Highly recommend these lights!

Had a few hiccups with delivery..not fault of Home Depot. In fact they probably would have not ever arrived without the help of customer service. The landscape lights are excellent quality and extremely easy assembly . Instructions were clear and concise. I would definitely order again.

These are impressive--the quality is way above everything else. Real glass and made of a sort of metal. I have these hanging underneath tree branches. Despite the shady/low sunlight placement, these solar lanterns light up every night. Amazing.

WHAT A HORRIBLE WAY TO SHIP NICE LIGHTS LIKE THIS YOU GUYS DIDN'T EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO REBOX THEM THEY SHOWED UP ON MY FRONT DOOR WITH HALF THE STUSS HANGING OUT OF THE CHEAP BOX THEY COME IN... VERY DISAPOINTED WITH THE SHIPPING THAT IS FOR SURE

Excellent quality, excellent value. This purchase was to replace a set of the same model that we have had for 8 or 10 years. That set had stakes and hanging hooks, this set only stakes - we were still able to use the old hangers, in strategic spots. The lack of a hanging option is the ONLY negative.

Solar panel on top does not hold up well to the sun. Noticeable deterioration after a few months of direct sunlight.

The box looked like it may have been a return, it was previously opened it was all taped up. When I opened it two lights were missing and the poles they slide into. I just used what I had.. I was in a hurry to get everything ready for my husbands birthday party

These are, by far, the best solar path lights I have ever purchased! The bulb is a full-sized Edison style bulb. The bulbs remain lit from dusk to dawn and give an ample amount of light. The color of light is a soft amber glow. The stakes are sturdy and solidly secure to the light fixture. The glass is of good quality. All-in-all, makes for a great product!
