2. Day use flush water from wand everywhere

I purchased this about 7 weeks ago and at first thought it was really great. However right around 6 weeks ago it stared to leak in an area that you couldn’t just put some tape there to fix it (between the silver and black all the way around). So I tried some Flex seal and even that didn’t fix it

I've been through about 3 or 4 of these watering wands in about the last 2 summers. These things are NOT sturdy and cheaply made. Any kind of dropping to the ground and the head separates from the handle. TOTAL JUNK, do not recommend. If you look at the closer broken photo you can see it is just plastic that holds those two pieces together.

We hooked it up to the hose, turned on the water, turned on the wand and the top half flew off. There are not any parts to keep it together, thus the wand is useless. I do not recommend anyone purchase this and suggest you try other brands.

The head of the wand snapped clean off after less than 2 months. Very disappointed since I liked the sprayer. I do not recommend this due to the lack of durability.

I like this watering wand, and wish it lasted more than a year. Sadly it didn’t and considering how it failed I doubt it would have. It will eventually leak at the handle behind the grey band carrying the Melnor label, or the head will ultimately shoot off when in use because the plastic holding the head to the wand had begun to shear from the water pressure (material failure). Giving one star since it’s not worth the price.

This is by far my favorite wand ever. Sadly, my first one leaked from the handle between the black and gray pieces and my second one leaks as well (see photo). That is two wands in just a couple of months. I love the lever, settings, grip, and length. Disappointed that my second one bit the dust so quickly!

I was very happy with this at the beginning. It has a bunch of settings that I use. It was easy to turn on and off and it does not leak where it is connected to the hose. However, after a while of using it, I noticed I was getting wet but it was weird that it was between the grey and the black portion of the nozzle handle.

This watering wand is by far better than any that came before it! No need to squeeze a handle and you can govern how much water pressure very easily, not only that the handle is easy to grip and not slippery. You can move the water pressure lever very easily from no water to full blast with your thumb and there are eight spray choices. What more could you want? No wonder the Arthritis Foundation recommends this watering wand!

Best watering wand. In fact we were so impressed with the ease of the lever which allows you to control the flow of water on and off with your thumb. And the different types of sprays patterns. We went back to home Depot and bought another one for the front yard.

We loved this product so much that we bought a second one. Our friend used it and loved it and then we bought a third one as a gift for him. Highly recommend!

This item leaks. It does not seal properly. Even after adjusting severals times.

This nozzle does not leak at the handle or at the spray end. You can adjust the amount of water that you release with just a slight movement of your thumb. I can easily stop the water completely between garden pots to prevent any waste of water. Several spay options. This really is the best hose nozzle I have ever owned.

The wand is easy to attach to the hose and it doesn't leak once it's attached. The water flow control is extremely easy to use with just your thumb. There are multiple spray patterns available by simply rotating the spray head. This is the best water nozzle that I have used. It's really easy to adjust the water flow and the spray pattern.

Good pressure, easy to hold, and several useful settings

I like this type of watering device. Longer handle (see pic 1) helps during watering plants which don't like wet leaves like roses, tomatoes and others. It helps me reach these plants with water by the ground, directly on roots. It has 8 different settings: shower, center, cone, stream, mist, vertical, flat and full (see video). The push lever can be locked into watering mode with help of wired loop (see pic 2), yellow button (see pic 3) regulates water volume running thru the spray head. Spraying head has "built in" loop (see pic 4) , so it can be hanged up. Melnor stands behind its product with 7 years warranty (see pic 5).

It is leaking in the middle where the strength of the spray is being controlled. This is the second one I had, both are leaking . It must be due to the faulty assembly. Too bad as the design of it is nice and easy to use if only it would not leak!

Nice sprayer. Good handle and strong water sprays

Purchased this Melnor 8-Pattern Soft Touch Watering Wand to replace an identical one that has been in use for several years. The first one, for some reason, no longer will allow water to pass through the "Jet" setting. Hopefully, the new one will have a longer life.

Bought 2 of these attachment last September and after a long winter i tried to use it and it added a new spray pattern coming from the handle.

Does not have good pressure.
