Good product. Scotts needs to come up with a bag for this spreader that is re-usable so other Scotts products not produced in these bags can still be used in this spreader.

  • Snap Pac
  • March 24, 2013

I put the Snap Pac weed and feed on 2 weeks ago and we went on vacation for 8 days and came back and it looks like I just fed the weeds and not the grass. Very unlikely if I will use it again.

Pros Easy to Install Cons not a weed killer!!

  • Bought it last year and gave it a try - Not worth the price even when the spreader was free.
  • March 18, 2014

The original snap product did not work well at all. Weeds kept growing. So what I did was to slice the bag at the top and use Scotts Bonus S. Back to where I was before. Spreader works pretty well, just have to deal with pouring the fertilizer from one bag to another. Will probably go back to my hand spreader.

Pros Easy to Clean Cons does not work and bags are harder to find.

  • Little Pricey

All of these bags for this spreader are a little pricey, but you can't beat this for easy-to-use. All you do is drop this in the spreader, lock it down with a simple slide switch and off you go. If you don't use it all simply unlock it and store the bag for later use.As for the weed & feed itself, I've always had pretty good results from Scott's products.

After the drought last summer, I had weeds growing on my lawn I had never seen before. After spreading the Southern Weed and Feed, boom!!! they were gone! It was what I needed for my lawn.

  • Killed the target weeds

The grass is now green and the product killed more weeds than the spray product that I had been using. So far the results have been better than prior products used, and it is definitely easier to dispense with the spreader. I would buy more of this product, and recommend it to my friends.

  • snap pac southern weed & feed
  • April 29, 2016

very easy to use it on my snap pac spreader to spread it on my front & back yards. I decided to try this different one on "SOUTHERN" weed & feed instead of snap weed & feed fertilizer that i normally buy every year. not much notice to kill weeds from this southern weed & feed. still have weeds. will not buy this one but only snap weed & feed fertilizer only. it was done late march just before rain next day. always use those that it will be raining tmw. that helps to save not to use house water but nature's.

Pros Easy to Install Cons Not Durable, pricey, not kill my weeds
