This kit would not work in using it on an iphone 4. Never can have enough tools, so hopefully it will come in handy on something else.

It has a few more screwdriver tips than I really wanted, but it had the one I needed. The other removal tools also come in handy. However, the suction cup was way too small. It kept popping off, and I couldn't pull it with enough force to get the screen off. Luckily I had a bigger suction cup in my tool box, which did the trick. The price was decent for what you get, and the quality of the tools is sufficient for the non-professional smartphone repairman. There are better kits out there, but they are a bit more pricey.

When Applecare + or other protection package runs out and your willing to tackle a repair on your phone, you will find everything here you need to do the job. Average quality tools for such sold at this price. The iWorks name may give this Idea that this is specifically for iPhone, but its not. It should do the trick on just about any smartphone or other small electronic device. Its a great kit to have around for many repairs.

This tool kit can be used for just about any small electronics repair because it has a large variety of tools that anyone can use successfully. So, don't be fooled by the unfortunately limiting name of the product. I really fills the bill for a much larger numbers of repairs you may need to make on so many electronic gear that you have around the home. You will not be disappointed in the tool kit's features.

So far I've used most of the bits with great success. None of the torx bits have rounded off and they held up fine to relatively high torque situations - even after taking apart a few hard drives that had super tight screws. The driver itself is hefty and solid, with the telescoping feature being a nice surprise in a small driver. I didn't use the spudgers / pry bars, but they seem to be fine. No telling how well they would hold up to frequent use. The case seems alright. The tray that holds the bits can be lifted, so you can store small items underneath it (not an advertised feature, but a nice option). Oh, the bottom of the case is rubberized so it won't slide around on your work surface. The clear cover seems a bit brittle, already having developed a crack while in my laptop bag. The bottom half seems more solid though. No big deal though.

This tool kit has everything you need to take apart your cell phone or tablet except for a guitar pick to help pry open a cell phone case. It comes with one handle and several different screwdriver tips. The are in a nicely organized box which is convenient because all the tools are in one place. It comes with 2 plastic splungers which are used to pry small parts or open cable ribbon locks. With the addition of a guitar pick this is a nice complete set that will come in handy the next time you have to replace the screen on your cell phone.

This should have everything except directions for taking apart most cell phones. I especially like the two sizes of case opening tools. (plastic prybars?) The handle for the screwdriver bits is big enough to actually fit in your hand, unlike the handles rescission screwdrivers. You also bet a suction cup for removing screens, and a reset tool/metal prybar. If you are comfortable with the idea of taking apart your phone, this tool kit will let you do it.
