I did a backsplash in my Florida winter home. The walls are older and less than straight, but using a level the tiles went on smoothly. I found I could actually substitute pieces of tile for any area that didn’t seem level like the electrical outlets. I switched out colors that didn’t stand out in problem areas. The tiles were very easy to work with. I actually cut them with sharp scissors. They seem to be sticking great! Florida summer humidity will be the real test, but I did put a leftover strip across the porcelain back of my bathroom vanity. It gets a little damp, but it has not loosened and looks very nice. I am pleased with the tiles. The subway tiles had to be returned as they were too white for my newly painted cupboard doors. The tiles arrived in a timely fashion, but I am still awaiting my refund. It’s been over a month since the company received my return. I followed the directions as per the company.

Not for perfectionists! This product is easy to cut and install, and looks good in my kitchen with the black & white granite. However, if you use a straight edge or ruler you will soon find out that everything in your kitchen is not perfectly straight. It took me 2 hours to do a small section on one side of the stove because the outlet boxes and the kitchen cabinets are not perfectly straight. It's a perfectionist's nightmare. I had to try and measure out to the 1/8" and cut so many really small pieces and cobble it together, I couldn't stand to do anymore. Be prepared to spend more time on it than others have needed. I did a buy a ruled trimmer/cutter in the office products section made for cutting paper or photos and that really helped.

I came across these very reasonably priced tiles when my husband and I were looking to update our Kitchen on a tight budget. The ordering process was quick & easy as well as the installation of the tiles & WOW what a difference these made. They look absolutely fabulous and give our OLD Farmhouse NEW Life! We have received many compliments and nobody realizes that they are Smart Tiles. Here are a couple of before & after photos.

I bought the Muretto Alaska tiles a month ago and it was an amasing experience from the beggining to the end, from the entertaning measuring part to the final product. I totally recomend this product.

The tiles are extremely easy to install of course. They look great, and if you don't know that these are "a paper" you'd think they're real tile. I have had them installed only for a couple of weeks so just time will tell how much they last. I have to say the price was not as cheap as I was expecting; just a bit cheaper than the real tiles, but you save the money and mess of the installation. Still, if I could afford it I would go for real tiles, professionally installed. I feel like that with these for instance, if the junctions are not perfect which they aren't normally (where the drywall joins the granite), the stick tile doesn't sit perfect to the wall and eventually they'll pop out. I think I'm starting to see one small sample of that. As said, only time will confirm. For now, I feel it was worth the effort and the kitchen looks amazing.

I moved to a home recently that had a dreadful backsplash tile behind the stove....cornfield blue tiles that didn't match with my color scheme. The smart tiles I chose to cover up that tile were a perfect solution and much more cost effective! Installed tiles in about 20 minutes and it looks fantastic!

This product is reminiscent of those stick-on earrings little girls wore in the 80s. It's easy to cut and apply to walls, so no skills are required. I won't say that upon close inspection they look like real tiles but since you're likely the only one who closely inspects anything in your home, no problem. It was far too easy to accidentally make a crease in the sheet, which shows through as an imperfection, so that's where it loses a star.

The smart tiles are very easy to work with. I installed these smarts tiles in my kitchen in about one hour. They look great!

What a great improvement in our kitchen for a reasonable price. These were easy to install and look great. I love the fact they are vinyl, easy to clean and no grout to worry about. Can't recommend them enough!

We noticed after we started installing a few of them that they had letters on the very bottom but no instructions to tell you how to install them with the letters. So we had to improvise after we got started.

These tiles gave my kitchen a complete transformation! They are very easy to install--- I did watch a couple of you-tube videos, just to be sure. They really look like glass tiles--- my friends are amazed!

Really beautiful for not being real stone. The product looks great on the wall and really added some dimension to my kitchen. It takes time to install simply because I'm a perfectionist. So it took me two full days, 8 hours each, to do two rows for a backsplash. I messed up two of my tiles when I was cutting out for outlets, but all in all it went on easy and the interlocking tiles really make a difference. I love it and would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to foot the bill for the real deal and the labor cost that goes with installation.

Provided, it long term adheres to the walls, an excellent product that was very easy to cut with any instrument. To other installers, cut backing paper to about a quarter of the size and then remove the other three quarters prior to installing on the wall, other wise difficult to remove backing while applying to wall. Quarter size allows easy positioning without touching the adhesive, and then easy removal as you finish applying the entire piece to the wall.
