This lock is CHEAP MADE!!! The metal bar on the back that goes in the latch broke off the first time I turned the key! I returned it and got another one and it did the same thing. I would not recommend buying this product. Beaty cheaply made!!!

Installation was fairly straightforward. Stuck the key in the lock and turned and the thing was very stiff and the key was stuck in a bind. Wiggled it out carefully. Put some graphite lock lube (usually for old rusty locks) and it turned. And it turned and turned and turned. Tumblers broken. This lock fell apart before it was even used. Can't take it out as it leaves a hole for burglars to open the door when locked from the inside. More cheap junk made overseas. Oh joy.
