Used this in a recording studio, traditional dimmers created line noise throughout the building. Using this reverse Phase/Trailing Edge/ELV (All those terms are interchangable) dimmer seems to have fixed that. Used with HLB6 LED's

The Lutron Skylark dimmer works well for our new chandelier with 9 2.5 watt led bulbs. This was the lowest cost dimmer I could find that would actually dim these low powered bulbs.

This fit the bill for dimming fixtures with integrated LED lights. Normal CL dimmers would cause these fixtures to flicker. Sadly, these are fairly expensive and the design is not what we’d prefer, so they get dinged a star, but they do work as intended.

This made my LED bulbs silent. I purchased this because the two conventional dimmers I had tried made my Cree brand LED bulbs buzz audibly. Not loudly, but annoyingly. The previous dimmers were supposed to be compatible. One was a conventional incandescent dimmer and the other was the Lutron TGCL-153P, which was rated for LED. According to internet wisdom, upgrading to an ELV style dimmer will usually quiet most noisy LED bulbs. The Lutron Skylark is one of the available ELV dimmers and it made my bulbs totally silent, to I'm a happy customer. I'm not a huge fan of this style, but it dims smoothly and the switch works fine. Be aware that this dimmer requires a neutral wire. BTW - Luton makes ELV type dimmers in others styles you could try too.

bought a few retrofit led recessed lights , tried a few dimmers with no luck ,they would only dim 1 of 3 , after reading the specs for compatible dimmers , I found there was only 2 listed , this one and a digital one , had to order this one as no one had it in stock but it works perfectly , only thing I noticed is that it only dims the lights about 1/2 way but don't see why you would need to dim more unless you wanted to use as a night light or something

A MUST dimmer for imported LED light fixtures (other than can lights). Standard Lutron LED dimmers allow too much wattage and the imported fixtures will “strobe”.

Pricey, but it worked. This is the 3rd dimmer I tried that finally successfully dimmed my LED under cabinet strip light without flicker.
I would give it 5 stars but I wish the on/off switch was larger.

The dimmer works just fine. This is a trailing-edge-type electronic low-voltage dimmer that some LED lights require. It dims these particular lights all the way to off, and no noise like some dimmers. It is rather pricey, but necessary in this case. The only downside is that the body of the dimmer inside the box is rather large and deep (about 1-3/8"), so if your box is not deep there may not be room for the dimmer and the existing wires in the box. This box had a fan timer (another bulky body) next to it in a deep (2-1/2") triple box, plus a regular 3-way switch, and it was a real fight to get everything inside. Also, unlike many dimmers this one requires a neutral for the dimmer, which is to say that there are three leads that must be connected: line, load, and neutral. If you don't have a neutral already in the box you will have to run one for this to work. So word to the wise if you are thinking about new lights that you want to dim: if you are considering true LED lights (these are cobb-type), as opposed to a light fixture that you can screw LED bulbs into (almost all screw-in LED bulbs can use a less expensive dimmer), check and see what kind of dimmer is required. This was the least expensive trailing edge dimmer I could find, and I already had a neutral in the box.

Best dimmer for LED lighting
This is by far the best dimmer I've found for use with dimmable LED light fixtures. There is no humming and no flickering like with most other dimmers, and the range of lighting intensity is great. The only downside of the product is the fact that it does require a neutral connection, so I designed my wiring with that in mind, and any competent electrician should be able to do the same. But the main reason I don't give it 5 stars is the price. There's no reason this should cost about twice the price of 2-wire dimmers, because the manufacturing cost is about the same as other dimmers. And it would sell better if it was available in stores and did not have to be special ordered.

This dimmer is being used in conjunction with a Pixi 2 ft x 2 ft Edge-Lit LED Flat Light Luminaire. The light indicated this dimmer was approved for the light. The light and dimmer combination is great.

electronic dimmer
This dimmer although expensive seems to work perfectly. Easy installation and has a very good range of dimming down to barely a glow on the pendant lights it governs. It's a must to have an electronic dimmer for low voltage lighting and they are all rather expensive so this was a good purchase with a fine result

Good product
I needed an ELV(electronic low voltage) dimmer to work best with my CREE LED bulbs that I put into my 3 pendant lights. Regular dimmer I found in store rated for use with LED bulbs did not work as well(lights kept humming). Worth it for me to spend the extra money for this one. Shipped fast and now installed-works perfect- no more humming/buzzing. Nature of the beast I guess!!
