This is a good switch and works as it was...
This is a good switch and works as it was designed for. However I wanted to use one of the sliders for a ceiling fan and other for the light. Light works fine but the fan still turns slowly even when lowered all the way. I actually needed a slightly different switch per the manufacturer who was very helpful on the phone. Switch is very good and this was my mistake. I’ll prepare more in the future and will purchase the correct switch with model F.

I bought this switch to control two separate lights in a room. One side the recessed lights the o...
I bought this switch to control two separate lights in a room. One side the recessed lights the other the fan lights. First off the instructions show a different wiring schematic than what was actually on the switch, but after studying it, I felt I had it correctly wired. Upon turning the switch on the one side on the recessed would turn on fine. When turning on the other side, the recessed and fan light would turn on. Thinking I might have got the wiring wrong I tried a different configuration and all I got was nothing on the fan side and all lights on the recessed side. After trying the original switch that had been installed prior, it was obvious the switch was faulty. I promtly returned it and bought a different brand switch all together.

I was provided the wrong switch. I needed it to be for LED multi lumen fixture. (It looks similar and order was presummed accurate. A helpful service rep. looked up up)

$30 is too expensive, but the controls are much smoother...
$30 is too expensive, but the controls are much smoother that the previous unit I had to replace.The detent to turn it all the way off is VERY stiff, so I only turn the dimmer down all the way, not to the "off" position. That is what broke my previous dimmer switch knob.
