We bought this lock to replace a deadbolt lock. Seeing we could not remember the keys. If we want someone else to have access to our home we just give them the code.The lock is very well made and easy to install.

Works great. Purchased third unit recently. Two others lasted tens years each of constant use. Five stars.

It was not as advertised. It was supposed to have an SC1 key cylinder. It had a KW1 cylinder. I had to spend more money to have a locksmith convert it to SC1!

My daughters were constantly misplacing or leaving their house key, with this system we don't have to worry about keeping up with a key or changing locks due to a lost key. Product works perfectly and I've recommended it to several friends.

I purchased my first one 8 years ago and it is still going strong. Every once in a while the keypad is finicky and will double press a number. But for the price cant beat it. I use these on my rentals. .. perfect quick access

Simple to install and use. Does the job. Costs way less than other similar electronic locks. I bought 3 of these about 4 years ago. They all worked fine until recently when one died. So I bought another to replace it and it's working fine. Battery life is OK, about 3-4 months. Nice that the lock remembers the programmed codes even while changing batteries. The keyway for opening the lock with a regular key does not look very secure. It's an ordinary key lock and can be easily picked open. So I improved the security by removing a pin attached to the key cylinder. With this modification the lock cannot be opened by key. So any attempt to pick the lock or use bump key will fail. The lock can only be opened with the electronic keypad.

it doesn't work and the manufacturer will not stand behind the product. If I didn't already have one and now need to replace it I WOULDN"T!!!!

Installation was easy and straight forward. Worked for about a month then it would not accept the code. I would have to remove the cover and reset the code to get it to work again. This happened three times until I finally removed it. Waste of money and time.

I havev had this lock for alittle over 2 years now and I love it the only issue I had was my deadbolt area wasn't fully aligned so we have to pull the door close to you while entering the code and hitting the unlock button and we've gotten use to it now so its no thing now... I definitely recommend and have recommended and thinking of getting one for my parents home...

The bolts that go through the door to hold the two halves together seemed crossthreaded to the threaded holes (molded into the exterior face plate) that they needed to screw into. I called the toll free number for the manufacturer's customer support and the phone was answered by live, helpful person. 3 business days later, I had the replacement parts I needed--no charge, not even shipping. Still had some problems with the install, but I went to my local store and with the help of two employees there I got those questions answered and returned home to complete the job easily. I really love the ease of locking and unlocking the door. I believe the 10 individual numbers makes this lock superior to those that use one button for 1& 2, etc. and thus have only 5 buttons, which makes the button combination for a code of 1234 the same as for 1144. More buttons more security. Had it not been for the manufacturing flaw in the treading of the faceplate, I'd be giving this lock a 5 on quality, ease of installation and overall. It was a troublesone installation with the quality issue, but I really like this lock.

Received the lock and installed it that night and everything worked great. Few weeks later, half the key pad stopped working. I changed the batteries and now it works intermittently. This lock is garbage!

this product was fairly simple to install. The functionality is just ok. The motor seems to be strong and works well, but the keypad is almost impossible to use in the dark even if the keypad is glow in the dark. The major downfall is that it takes several times to enter the code, because when you press the numbers on the keypad sometimes you have to press it multiple times and other times you will barely touch it once and it will enter the number twice. Other than the keypad issue the quality of the deadbolt is very solid.

For the price I am happy with the product. Easy enough to use.

It automatically locks after 1 minute. I now feel a little more secure than a regular lock

my door space is tight therefore I have no choice as this is the only electronic lock that fits and I also like the full numeric pad for entering codes, however,the durability of this product is below average !
