The Simpson Ties were perfect the application I was needing to accomplish. We were screwing together two 4 inch vinyl fence post, and the ties provided ample threads and a minimal amount of post intrusion, being just a 1/4, and the 6 inch length gave us good holding in the post being attached to. Worked perfect now I need to find a use for the other 4.
