Do not buy simtek items from home depot... try to get it directly from the company. Home depot takes too long to ship the items because it goes thru many venders before getting to you. I started this fence in march, it is now September and my fence still isnt done because of home depot vender delays. I understand in march but its September and they are still having these delays

I think the gate panel is well made and reinforced well. i wish there was a little inspection and smoothing of the edges after the molding process. The panels aparently are just pumped out and are not always uniform. For what they cost this ought to be more important. I think the biggest weakness is in the hinge hardware, seems to be a recurring issue with everyone's pre-made gates, barely adequate for the weight of the gate. I will support it in middle when latched. I am overall satisfied though - I've only had it up two weeks, but so far it looks good.

The fence panels and gate look amazing! Many have said they look like real stone. Some have actually walked up to the fence to touch it and they are very surprised to learn that it is not stone. We are very pleased with the end result.

THE PANELS THAT I PURCHASED FOR MY FENCE ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL, STRONG, STURDY AND DURABLE. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE LOOK OF MY HOME FENCE. A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE , BUT THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIAL IS 100% WORTIED.

If you've already decided on an Ecostone fence, this is the gate that you're going to have to buy. I bought three of them - two as a double gate that you could drive through and one as a walk-through gate. The hardware is great - looks like stainless under black paint. The manufacturer's instructions suck, but if you just think about it a while, you can figure out how to get the gate up. If you do fences for a living, you already know, but this was my first one. BTW, you NEED the expensive gate post - the cheap end posts won't support this gate - it's really heavy. There are excellent adjustment points on the hinges, so it's easy to get the gate square, and the hinges have adjustable self-closing springs that actually work! We had to tighten them up a bit - once again, no instructions on how to do that, but it's easy to figure out.
