One of the best ladders on the market. This thing is LIGHT. I use this ladder several times a day at several different locations. This has to get in and out of my truck inside a house and set up. It is just short enough to fit inside a standard 6.5’ with the tailgate closed. the carry handle serves as a locking mechanism to keep the ladder in the stored position. Once inside it is super easy to set up with one handed open and closing. moving it around in the open is easy with it so lightweight, I open-palm the platform (like a waiter carrying a tray) and it is narrow enough to fit through most standard size doorways. The steps are wide enough you feel comfortable standing and working from them if you don’t have to be on the top platform. There are also several tool/working trays for use. The very top one is concave so you can put nuts and bolts (or a phone like I do) without worrying about falling down while you’re working as well as being slightly rounded so it’s easy to get the items you need. the paint tray is pretty standard except it also has a sliding/locking drawer which I was surprised to see. This drawer can potentially be used for items that stay with the ladder, as it has two mechanisms to open the compartment (positive locking mechanism to slide tray open and an additional lid for the drawer itself). Then there’s the paper towel holder which for painting is great. It’s like they actually thought about the people using this ladder when they designed it or something. Wild This thing is great (did I say that already?) and what’s more is it’s comparable in price to similar sized ladders. I had to order mine online but it is definitely worth the wait.

This ladder is lightweight but really sturdy. I like that it has enough of a tread for me to stand comfortably and has a place to put a tool or hang a cleaning rag.

Lightweight and easy to carry with handle. Sturdy. Fit in my small crossover SUV with the back seat down. I’m very happy with this ladder. Haven’t tried using it for painting. The fourth step is 45" from the floor.

The ladder is perfect for my home - lightweight but sturdy, easy to store and tall enough to reach the top shelf.

Ladder is sturdy and light weight

I have owned shorter ladder by same manufacturer. This just gets me a little higher to reach ac vents. Easy to carry, open and use. Feel safe on it.

The ladder is light and easy to carry but I was disappointed because the guard rail only comes to just above the knees. I did not feel very safe standing on the platform. The guard rail on the Werner podium ladder is higher but the 6 foot ladder was not available through Home Depot.

Great ladder

Again, great service by Home Depot. Nice size ladder and stable platform. The light weight makes this a ladder easy for senior citizens to use. This is my second Cosco 6ft. ladder in 12 years. The four stars instead of five stars is that the second ladder suffers from the same defect the first had in that there is a small wobble. The four legs may not the same length or there is a small torx to the aluminum frame. The unlevel nature of the first ladder got increasingly bad over the years and necessitated the replacement. Otherwise, the wider steps and the wide platform give one a sense of safety when using the ladder.

The ladder is light weight and easy to handle for it’s size. It’s also easy to deploy and fold. When the carrying handle is rotated into position, it locks the legs together for secure transport. The 4th step is a small platform making it more comfortable to shift positions while working.

This ladder is great. I had an old standard 6 ft ladder and the braces that kept it open were beginning to fail and it was no longer safe. This ladder will have have that problem; it is very sturdy. I just finished using it to wash my windows on the outside. The device for holding a roll of paper towels was very helpful and I used the drawer to hold the partially used paper towels to keep them from blowing away in the wind. I kept the spray bottle of window cleaner on the top "shelf". Overall, it is very useful.

This is the “Around the house” ladder that I’ve always wanted. It’s sturdy, relatively lightweight, and functional for short and longer reaches. I wish I’d been able to find this ladder years ago, but better late than never.

Great product! So happy I chose theis ladder. The Cosco brand is true to it's reputation.

Although it is too early to judge longevity, the ladder itself is a well made product, easy to haul around, sturdy, and makes my life a lot safer.
