This model came with our house and performed perfectly for about 6 years. We purchased the same model because we loved it and for its size.

I needed to replace an over the counter 24 inch width microwave and this was one of the few to fit the need. Even though it's a couple inches taller and few more inches in depth, this microwave is about 60% larger at 1.5 CF than my old microwave - what a difference! My installation was a little tricky due to having to install the mounting bracket on backer tile with a filler in the back, but otherwise it was a piece of cake and easier than I first imagined. In addition to its great size it has a ton of features and once you read the manual its easy and intuitive to use. For replacing an existing over the counter 24 inch width microwave I highly recommend this model.

Was looking for a microwave oven that is not installed above the stove, not sitting on the counter top, not in a pullout drawer and not a built-in / boxed-in. This microwave oven is installed in the upper cabinet, similar to the installation of an above the stove microwave oven. It is installed under a 24" cabinet, does everything my 30" microwave oven did, the carousel is the same size and same power level. Would like to see a SS finish that wasn't so bright. Overall everything I was looking for in my renovated kitchen. Note: Backsplash and door hardware not installed as of yet.

Outstanding. I didn't want to buy this thing because of the price, but it looks great, has many features, and it's extremely quiet. Cooks quickly and pretty evenly.

This over stove microwave goes perfectly with my range and is just the right size for my tiny kitchen.

The product's outside dimensions were exactly those required to fit the built-in cabinet space holding the old unit. Even though this product is an over-the-counter design, I verified the feasibility to use it as a counter top unit. Since the vents are on the bottom and the air exhausts from the top front, I could raise the unit 1 inch off the shelf, and with 1-1/2 inches space on each side, 2 inches on the top, and 2-1/2 to 3 inches in the back, my appliance store confirmed there was ample airflow for this unit - the ONLY unit I could find to fit this space. The unit has an elegant look and is simply to use: read the manual to completely to understand this unit's features and then experiment! It also has a test mode that allows you to train without activating the microwave magnetron! We have had this microwave for barely a month, are very well pleased, and hope for several years use! I consider this a good purchase and would recommend taking the time to investigate further and consider this appliance for your microwave selection.

Love this microwave. It fit into the cabinet perfectly. I like that the cord comes out of the top so that the micro fits snugly against the back wall and doesn't stick out of the cabinet front.

Works perfect for the basement bar/mini kitchen that I have. Finding a 24" microwave was quite difficult, and this fits the bill. Installation is a bit more complicated based on others I've installed, but not terribly so.

A modern look, replaced an almost exact model in white for the new Stainless Steel and the new one fir perfectly even on the old mounting parts! Great option for under the counter, love it!

I have used Sharp microwaves for more than 20 years - replacing when necessary. I fully trust Sharp and expect to use them the rest of my life!! I have had this new one about 3 weeks. It works fine, same dependable microwave - familiar instructions and faultless operation. Thank you

This is a rating in advance based on my existing unit which has performed very well for 6 years. I purchased the new unit to have a spare since this model is no longer being manufactured.I have a custom installation and new models unlikely to fit without significant cabinet modifications.

This replaced the sharp microwave I had since 2005. It works as well except that there is no signal when it’s done. I tried what it says in the instructions that come with it but it still doesn’t work. Maybe someone out there can help me figure this out.

This was a replacement for the R-1210 model. A very dependable and well-working m/w, but there are more modernand powerful models. The previous one lasted for 15 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the earlier version of this unit for nine years before it began to be unreliable, so to make life easy, I bought this unit and popped in into place in a matter of minutes using the old mounting plate - easy peasy. This oven does everything we need and more.

Love it! Good size, strength and design.

Needed a microwave that fit a pre-existing hole. Was the only one I found that would fit, so was not expecting much more than a vanity plate. This microwave heats up quick and has a lot of options for cooking, defrosting, etc and is easy to use. Love it!

Installed this unit a short time ago and everything seems to be working well. It looks good. Task light is nice, but it could be brighter ( it is a very “soft” light ). It is heavier than you might think, and easier to hang with 2 people. Anchor it well. Home Depot would be better off to wait a couple months before asking for a review of products like this so that operation can be better rated.
