My plumber just installed this system with little problem. I have not used it yet, but he pointed out that the lower escutcheon that is marked "C" and "H" for hot and cold are printed on the wrong side (see close up of HD photo). As we know hot is left, cold is right, and though the valve is giving water temps on the correct sides, the "C" and "H" are marked on the wrong sides. I'm going to call Symmons for an explanation and hopefully for a correctly marked escutcheon. If there is not a replacement I am stuck with it as it is installed, and everyone will just have to remember which side is hot and cold and not rely from the marked escutcheon. Not good especially for kids and disappointing for this price. So for this I will only give 2 stars and not recommend it. If Symmons solves the problem I will upgrade my review.

Very good performance, nice features, cool looks , stylish

We have yet to install this but that's mainly due to the lack of instructions. It comes with basically a one sheet diagram of the system with some rough measurements. We're pretty handy and installed a shower head/valve in our other bathroom, but that unit came with a book of instructions. Had to call the manufacturer to make sure I wasn't missing something. Think we have it figured out now so fingers crossed the function of having a nice looking combo shower/tub/handheld makes it worth it! Another note- the diverter isn't marked, and doesn't really lock into settings to switch between the 3 options- was told we will just learn what position is for what.
