Ultimately this system worked really well. A few tips: roll through the track with your spline roller to work out any areas where you may have bent in the lip when banging the track into place. Also, be prepared for trial and error when it comes to picking the right spline size for your screen.

I bought this product due to my prior experience with Screen Tight's base screening system available in the store at HD https://www.homedepot.com/p/Screen-Tight-3-1-2-in-x-96-in-Porch-Screening-System-Base-Strip-BASE38/100017456. This product is relatively inexpensive and very easy to install. This mounts on the face of a 2x4 or 4x4, but cannot be used for mounting INSIDE an opening.
I needed an inside mount product. The MiniTrack system was made for inside mounting, but was not available at any HD stores near me. I had to have it delivered. The installation video made it look easy to install. It was far more expensive than the base product referenced above.. Installation is at least 4x longer than the original screen tight product referenced above. It all looked easy. Install a mounting screw every 8". Well, 500 screws later and I am pretty tuckered out. After that each screw must be adjusted manually for a tight fit with the mini track.
Installation of the track over the screws was easy. Cut the track with your miter saw and use a rubber mallet to install over the screw heads. The end result looks very professional.
Recommendation
If you are ok with the look of a surface mount and are in the building stage, make sure that all the top, bottom, and side surfaces are flush. This will allow you to use the much cheaper and easier to install Screen Tight Product that can be purchased at any HD store.

The product works very well. One issue I had was Home Depots video vs. Screen tight video do not match each other. Both video's could have given much more information to make the project move forward much easier. I had to use trial and error installing this product and it cost me a few more dollars that it should have. However, now that the product is installed it looks Great

Very well made product that was quick and easy to install. Also, the no see-um screen sets extremely tight and smooth. The day after everything was installed, our dog tried to jump off the porch (through the screen) and bounced right off without damaging anything. Will definitely use this system again.

Good for finishing rooms that are too far off the ground for exterior screens.

Pretty slick but could be better.
I had to rescreen a porch that had openings approximately 5' x 3'. The original screen was sort of "built in" with screen wrapped around a wood frame nailed in with moldings. It lasted in excess of 25 years but I knew it wouldn't go back that way. I was happy to come across the Screen Tight systems.
I'm an avid DIYer, carpenter, woodworker and firm believer in Murphy's Law. I prepared the window openings by filling, sanding and painting. I carefully mark, drilled and drove the fastening screws as straight as I could. Check the fit/height of the screw using a piece of scrap rail. It should slide freely. Too tight and the rail won't completely clinch around the head. Too loose and the screen will pull the rail and you'll have a small gap against the mounting surface. However, better too loose than too tight. Following the advice of other reviewers, I didn't use the recommended square screen spline. I used Phifer 0.160 in. x 100 ft. Gray Spline. I taped the screen in place and sprayed a bit of Windex through the screen into the spline groove for lubrication. Everything rolled into place nicely. Pull the screen reasonably tight but overdoing it may pull the rail away from any screws that didn't fully clinch in the rail.
The whole system is kind of slick. It looks nice and clean if you're careful. However, I'd pay a bit more to just screw through the rail into mounting surface. You can do this if you drill your own holes. Using a countersink and enameled screws would look just as nice and be a more straight-forward installation. You can also do this if you mess up and have to add some strength to your installation.

It will be a great fit if you plan the system carefully.
This was an amazing system to add screening to a wooden porch.

This is a very good system. It’s slick and sleek. It does require a little finesse to put the screws in and then to mallet the track onto it. It is a spine type system. The material cost is low, and the labor might be a slight bit more than with a fast track system.

Good Idea, Poor Execution
- Poor and incomplete instructions.
- Incorrect spline recommendations on the web and on the phone. After much experimentation (ordered five sizes of spline), I found 0.14" spline from another brand worked best with SuperScreen.
- ScreenTight's roller proved too wide to push the spline to the bottom of the groove.
I could do the job again in 1/4 the time and create a better end product after learning the tricks. However, doesn't that defeat one of the primary purposes of a DIY product?

Stickers are a pain to remove.
I bought a lot of these to finish my 16xq8 porch. There are stickers on the front side of every track. The stickers do not peel off easily and have to be scrubbed. This increased my time by almost double installing these. The system itself is fine.

The system is good, and works well in the situation where I needed multiple size openings screened and was working from inside on the 3rd floor.
One big negative was the fact that the spline they sell for the mini track system does not work well. It is a square shape and the same size as the track in which you secure the screen. I found that with the spline and screen it was impossible to get it seated in the track, and I had to use a round spline slightly smaller than the opening. This made screen installation easy instead of nearly impossible or impossible.
I also bought their screen rolling tool and was not impressed. It was poorly assembled with loose nuts/bolts that resulted in me losing one of the 3. It did still work, but the screen cutting tool that is built in is not extremely useful because there is no way to cut the screen flush to the track. This means that I have some excess screen showing around the sides.
Overall the mini track system was good for my application, but if you are seeking a very clean look you should consider traditional screens.

Installed these on my new enclosed rear porch. Many of the negative reviews were due to the hidden fasteners so I avoided that route. I simply drilled thru the tracks and fastened with #8 pan head stainless screws. I also used standard spline. Results were good.

The video makes it look easy to install. I found it any but. There is no room for any mistakes. As the spline is rolled into the grove any slip and the screen will cut. I would get to the last inch or so from the end and the screen would tare. I do not think any body could install this system without a cut in the screen. The spline tool they sell for the spline is to wide, so you cut the screen real easy. I tool it back and found a spline tool at Ace that was not as wide of a roller and it worked much better.
