Locker is difficult to open

Catches on the locker didn’t line up with catches on the door. Locker door wouldn’t stay closed or lock. I contacted Sandusky and they promptly respond and are sending me a new locker that hopefully works properly.

The Door never lock ... I spend 100$ no worth it

I ordered 2 of these, aware of the previous mediocre ratings, because I needed a locker of this size and shape with which I could use a padlock. One locker was adequate (after reshaping the bent edge of the door with a rubber mallet). The other I had to send back because the door latch was broken. Both hooks of the latch (mounted on the box part) were wobbly and had to be lined up each time before closing the door. On the door, there is a sliding metallic part that does not itself engage the hooks; rather, a thin plastic piece glued onto the sliding metal piece engages the hooks, and one of the plastic pieces was broken off. Why they made such an inadequate latch system on an otherwise decent $100 box is a mystery to me.

You have to work at it to get the door to open and close.

Great, sturdy locker. Just too large for my space, so had to return.

Product came as expected. There are mount holes on every side so beware of what you want to use it for.

Strong and sturdy, good looking. The only issue that I feel is the door moves even when latched.

Great look and a fun piece to add to our loft bedroom. It is not heavy duty but works nicely for a nightstand.

This storage locker is made of very thin steel. One corner was slightly dented during transport, which caused the steel material to split open in the dented area. In my opinion, the construction quality is poor, with bad quality control of the seams and weld spots (one of my lockers had big globs of steel in an inside corner where it wasn't welded properly). The paint job was also of low quality, with paint runs, strange rough and discolored spots, and paint chipped off along one corner. The door hardware is flimsy, and loose, with plastic parts. One locker arrived with broken plastic door hardware and will need to be returned. This product is definitely not the sturdy steel locker you would find in a typical school. Marginally useful for my purposes, but I would not buy this product again.
