I've had this mailbox for about a month now. It is sturdy and well-sized. However, the main problem with this mailbox is that it is not at all the color depicted. It is far less red, more yellow (see image). One additional concern is that the lid sticks out just a little behind the hinge. In order to keep this from scratching the siding, I had to insert washers (not provided) between the mailbox and siding.

This mailbox looks great with our 1920's bungalow. It is sturdy and a good size, even for magazines. The little square cutouts let us see when the mail has arrived. The color is very pretty - more bronze than copper; the only negative is that brush strokes show which makes the patina look wavy. Otherwise, we love this mailbox.

Love the look, size and quality of this mailbox... since it is only partially protected from weather by our front door overhang, one side of the lid has weathered from rain... I don't mind this except it's only on one side. Also, we wanted to see our mail so we did not use the extra metal plate to cover the hole design on the front... I needed to get a plastic sheet to cover the inside of the mailbox to protect the mail from moisture. If you have a protected spot for this mailbox I highly recommend it.

I bought it as a gift for my son and he loves it! It appears to be well made and looks great on his house.

I love the looks of this box. I haven’t put it up yet but it is a great size and is easy for the mailman to use.

Love the style and patina of this mailbox! Constructed of heavy gauge metal that far exceeds the mailboxes of the shelf in the big box stores. It elevated my porch to the next level and I’m confident it will last many years.Easy to install by myself.. 60 yo somewhat -handy female

This mailbox is definitely not this color. It is aged brass. It is heavy, well made and a good size. I do like it but I had hoped for it to be closer to the color shown. I just hope that it doesn't drip corrosion down my siding since it is out in the weather.

I like the mailbox very much, but the pictures showed it to be an aged red. It in fact has no red to it at all, and the mailbox has drip runs. Bummer.

I returned this product to the store. It is very heavy duty and nice looking design but the color was nothing like the picture shown. In addition it was poorly packaged and had scratches on the face.

Pretty looking mailbox, very contemporary. It looks good with our front door / entry space. The mailbox is significantly smaller than the one we replaced and it is harder to collect the mail. But, i love the holes exposing mail has arrived. The lid (side) grips outgoing mail, it holds it in place - it is better than our other mailbox b/c it doesn't make a mark on the envelope! the box itself is nice but does show scratches and smudges. My husband says it gives the mailbox character! I like the change and am proud to show it off to visitors!

What a great mailbox. So happy with the style and size.

It's perfect for my prairie style house, and the mailbox looks better in person! I put up the privacy screen they provide and I like the looks of it so much better. My only issue is that the inside of the mailbox has some patina residue that's really difficult to get rid of. It gets on my hands when I get the mail from the box. I've cleaned it a few times and it's happening less with more use, so not a big complaint and I would still buy this mailbox either way.

The mailbox matches the description from the website. I got exactly what I wanted. I like the holes in the front to let me know if I have mail. And I also like the optional cover for the holes.
