Very easy to put together. Love that I can machine wash because we did buy two of these to keep the dogs off the carpeted areas of the house. The poles are annoying to get through the top and bottom sleeve but we just used a zip lock bag to allow the rubber ends to slide through more easily. The only issue I had was the shipping time was crazy long.

This was my third attempt for a simple,sturdy and safe baby gate that would be placed at the bottom of the stairs....perfect. Should have looked at this product when I started this process would have saved a lot of time and the cost through Home Depot was great along with the product delivery ! Thank you, Teresa.

Yes, finally a wide door with expanding stoppers so we did not have to install hinges in our walls. Thank you!

This adjustable gate works perfectly and fits wide openings like the bottom of our stairway so when the kids visit with the dog and our granddaughter they can't get into to much trouble lol. That said the assembly is a little clunky and can be challenge to get it adjusted just right so it fits snugly. As long as you don't mind taking it apart, putting it together, and manually adjusting it each time it is needed you will be happy with the product. If you are looking for something that is easy to put up and take down or move out of the way in short intervals this is probably not what you are looking for. It works great for me on the weekends when it is needed.

Fantastic fit for wide doorways. Doesn’t damage walls or floor. Great price. Got 2 for new puppy. Wish they made it in smaller sizes for other spaces

Looked for awhile for a gate that would go up and down quickly that was wide enough. Top and bottom adjust separately with tension which works well if top and bottom area are different widths. Sturdy, padded and stays in place.

Love the product and the help at the store. Use as a pet gate.

I needed a tension roded gate that could expand beyond 60 inches. Most gates that I found had to be installed. That's a major pain in the you know what. This is the ONLY tension roded gate that goes beyond 60 inches. It's easy to use and looks fine in my living room setting. It keeps little Ossie out of rooms he shouldn't explore in and gives me peace of mind that shoes and plants won't be used as a teething toy. Only catch- if you use it for dogs (like me), it may not be suitable for a larger breed. It isn't really high and they may be able to jump over it.

This product is a good deal because of price. But it has a down fall. Where the side bars connect break. Didn't take long either. I now have zip ties holding it together. Our 18 month old has figured out how to get past those also. Now we have to figure out something else, but it has to be a wide gate and those are hard to find.

It does cover the width it states but it is hard to take off and on when it is at it's widest as I have it. It takes two people to remove it and put it back up.

I purchased this product for my living room doorway which is very large - 59".(pocket doors). I'm using it to keep my two small dogs out of the living room and so far it's worked great. The dogs can still see us but can't get in. Very easy to install and fits snug enough that if the dogs stand up to it, it does not move at all.
