The rug arrived smelling horribly of mold. Obviously, it was not stored properly. It is hard to know if this was Home Depot's fault or Safavieh's fault, but as the seller and therefore, the last to possess the item sold, Home Depot is ultimately responsible for delivering a spoiled product. Of course, we did not continue opening the package so we could not see how the rug may have looked design-wise or felt material-wise. The associate who accepted the return seemed uninterested in the condition of the rug and I wonder if she made a notation that the rug was damaged to prevent another customer receiving it. A simple, friendly, “Wow, sorry about that!” was the least she could have said.

Beautiful rug. Color and size are true as advertised. Will purchase another one.

I ordered this rug 3 times. The first time it had a 2 inch hole in it. The second 2 times they must have changed the dye lot and it wasn’t even close the the same color as the first time, which I also had other size rugs of.

Exactly as pictured....color was perfect...I had purchased a wool rug from Home Depot before and was very pleased so I ordered this for inside my front door....a nice light color to brighten the entry.

The store does not carry even a small version of this rug. So, you have to depend on the website for color. The artist rendering makes the beige look gold. The photos deceivingly make the teal look like the perfect choice. However, the light teal is far more green than shown online. When you buy four matching rugs, like I did, you are spending more than $1,300. I realize that the Home Depot stores don't have room to stock everything, however, when you're spending this kind of money, on carpets that are the focal point of a home's color scheme, you would think at least one small sample could be available to view. Ultimately, the rugs are beautiful, but not the color I had hoped for.

The 4 star rating is because it was impossible to determine colors from the website. The artwork made beige look gold. The photos looked like the teal I wanted, but turned out more pale green. The store should stock at least one when this is the color basis for your rooms.

This is an absolutely beautiful rug that looks & feels of high quality despite the very affordable price. The colors in the pictures (not the artist's rendition but the actual photos of the rug) are very true to the real item. The background color (Teal) is just as shown on-line, a bluish-green color but I would say that it leans a bit more green (like a deep sea foam green color) than blue. The border (Beige part of the Teal/beige rug) actually appears a bit more golden in hue and the accents colors in the rug include a deeper teal (more blue than green), rust, cream and light brown. Often, the on-line photos won't accurately represent the true colors of the item but, in this case, I feel they did. Still, we arranged for in-store pick-up and I would highly recommend this so that you can see the item in the store to be certain it is what you want before taking it home rather than receiving it in your home and then having to haul it back to the store if it's not what you expected.

This is the second of this brand rug that I have purchased through Home Depot. It will shed a bit at first, but that does stop. Do pay attention to the thickness of the rug. It is deeper, plusher looking than most, but you can't expect to move a door over it unless you shave the door back quite a bit.
