This is a cheap rug and would be great if you just adjust the size you order to make up for their lack of knowing how to use a tape measure. This was about 4 inches shy of the 8 foot width that they claimed it was. I’m very disappointed.

Rug looks good but has quality issues. Looks like a quality control issue at the factory. Have to repackage rug now to return, not happy. Customer service was not helpful.

We purchased this rug for a long high traffic hall coming in from the garage. The color and pattern work well, it does not show footprints and is great at catching dust. It arrived rolled up in plastic, in a box. We did not have any issues with wrinkles or curling edges after a day or two. We did not notice any rug smells. We decided to try the rug without a rug pad because it is a high traffic area and I was concerned about causing a trip hazard if we raised it with a pad - we have not had any issues with the rug slipping.

Brought this runner to match my living room rug.

The rug is lovely and the colors are rich. I spent a lot of time on-line trying to match the predominantly red color of this carpet to a red striped living room chair so they would not clash. The colors can sometimes be way off on these items. I went to my local Home Depot, and although they did not have this carpet on display they did have other red ones that were, and the colors were accurate. So I ordered this rug with a fair amount of confidence. It arrived quickly and was well packed. The rug is well made and an excellent value. The manufacturer, Safavieh, has a very good reputation and it is well deserved. The carpet pile is very good, and although the fiber density is a little lower than more expensive offerings, if feels great underfoot with the appropriate area rug pad, which I also purchased from Home Depot. The 1/4" thick felt area rug pad (with a rubber anti-slip backing) was the perfect partner for the 1/2" pile of this rug. Together you end up with a plush feel and a wonderful area rug that will not slip or move on a wood floor. As you can see from the attached photo, the rug and the chair complemented each other perfectly.

4x6 area rugs are difficult to find in stores, so I knew I was taking a chance ordering on line. What a pleasant surprise. The colors are vibrant, the size true and the quality much better than I anticipated. It's perfect in our foyer and I am a fussy customer to please. Thank you Home Depot!

It is the prettiest rug I've ever seen. I couldn't be happier with it. It took a while for the wrinkles/rolls to flatten out, but other than that, I have zero issues with it. I will be very likely to purchase from this brand again.

As reviewers have noted, tis rug is gray not blue. Should have trusted the review. We returned it.

Not a bad rug for the price. However, it was shipped, folded in half and then rolled. Obviously to cut shipping expenses on a 10ft long parcel. We still have creases in the backing and pile that have not worked out even after laying flat for 3 weeks. Rugs should be ROLLED, not folded.

As pretty as this rug is, the smell is unbearable. We have been leaving it to air out with the windows open for several days now, and it’s not getting any better. I have a headache, and I’m concerned about my children, breathing in these chemicals. Other manufacturers don’t have the same off gassing problem, look elsewhere.

The rug did not actually measure 9’X9’, as it was advertised. I don’t think this is a Home Depot issue, rather a manufacturing issue on the part of SAFAVIEH. Very unfortunate, however, I really needed it to be the size it was advertised as.

The rug itself was beautiful but it was 4 inches short on each side, not a true 8 x 8. We returned it because it wasn’t big enough to fit where we had intended. Very disappointed!

Beautiful, thick rug

Very good quality rug, great looking, and great value.

We bought this carpet to match a much larger we bought from HD five years ago. It has held up beautifully, even with a big shedder of a dog. We are looking forward to getting many years of good service from it.
