This carpet looked beautiful online and when first rolled it out but it still has creases in it from being folded even 2 weeks later!! It sheds and pills like crazy. When I vacuum it the fibers coming off cover the vacuum. There's a bare spot on one edge shown in the photo. It's not what I expected at all.

It was hard to find an 8x8 area rug, but this one is nearly perfect. The color is spot on. I did imagine the pattern would be a smaller scale.

The rug is pictured in a gorgeous shade of blue. However , it is not that color at all. It is navy blue instead of the soft blue that’s pictured. That makes it very difficult when you’re choosing a rug. It Has to be the color shown or you may as well close your eyes and choose a color. I was disappointed with color shown and actual color received. The rug itself was nice quality for the price.

This beautiful rug is 100% wool and hand tufted in India. It is one-half inch tall and tightly woven which gives it a soft bouyant feeling underfoot. The rug arrived well made and “clean” meaning no need to vacuum to remove loose bits before using. The color is blue. Ordering area rugs on-line is always challenging because of the differences in monitors but when the maker says it is blue and it actually is blue, that's a good thing! I did not use the recommended rug pad to keep it from shifting and sliding because there is a loveseat and couch holding it down. I am very impressed with beautiful rug and do not hesitate to give it five stars.

This is a very well made wool rug. I love walking barefoot on it. Thick and very plush and densely made. The backing is well made also to keep it from unraveling. The overall color is consistent throughout and the border is consistent all way around. I could not detect any pattern flaws. The overall color is rich and consistent. The pictures I included are a little washed out due to the flash. Looks better in person. My wife and I are really impressed with the rug. Really enhances the look of our living room.

Just over a year ago, I bought a cabin adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Central NC. It came with a wood stove made in Atlanta, which was anything but air tight and sent a lot of the heat up the chimney. The interior and exterior of the cabin are earth tones, contrasted by the natural pine finish of tongue and groove "knotty pine" planks lining the walls and ceiling in the two bedrooms, and the inner wall of the "great room" (combined kitchen, parlor and inner living room). I wanted to replace the wood stove with the same brand but a smaller model of a soapstone stove I had in my house in the lower Hudson River valley of NY before moving to NC 5 years ago, as I liked the blue-green hue of the stone, and now it was available with a "Seafoam" blue majolica enamel trim. The great room needed brightening up, and this was exactly the stove to do it. The floor gets fairly cold in the winter, so when Home Depot offered a sale on area rugs in August, I reviewed all 6' x 9' products - the perfect size for the oval dining room set - and stopped when I saw the Safavieh "Heritage Blue/Blue" (internet number 205638418) as it was the perfect complement to the soapstone and trim of this wood stove. The Heritage is a very dense, well made carpet, with vibrant colors in fluorescent lighting, and the wool construction will no doubt keep my feet warm on those snowy winter evenings. Combined with the "Thin Profile" non-slip rug pad (internet number 203173558), it offers a very comfortable cushion feel, without being overly thick. After placing the rug pad, then locating the Heritage carpet over it, I took a photo with my iPhone, but had to take a separate photo of the stove since the iPhone flash is not very strong. The exterior photo was taken at the end of January, and being born and raised in western NY state, I miss the white stuff now that I am in the Triad area where I work (High Point). As an added bonus, the price of the carpet was reduced online an additional 5% (to an already 20% reduction) after I had ordered it, and when I went to pick up the carpet and pad, the store associate in customer pickup went the extra mile to call Home Depot Online and arrange for them to credit my account for the difference. A huge thanks goes out to Home Depot for the beautiful carpet addition to my cabin, and to the store associate that went out of her way to help save me money. These are another reminder of why I shop at Home Depot, and not Lowes.

The rug quality was great but the color represented on line wasn’t close to the actual product so we returned it.

The teal/blue colors in the rug on the website was not an accurate representation of the actual rug. The rug I received was a country blue that did not match my decor at all. Had to return rug.

I love the colors and thickness of the rug. It’s still “shedding” because it’s wool so I hesitated giving it an excellent. But that being said I love my rug.

I bought this to match the 10' x 14' rug. The shedding of this and the larger one is unbelievable. Looks are deceiving as online they both look really nice, but when vacuuming little fibers come off and stick to the vacuum. I love the colors but would not recommend because of the materials used to make these rugs. Fortunately the oval rug didn't have wrinkles in to like the large one did that haven't straightened out after 2 weeks. I don't expect these rugs to last very long.

This is a beautiful plush quality rug with gorgeous colors. We were very happy with it!!!

Nearly exactly as pictured. There is always going to be a little color variation when making purchases like this. Even the fluorescent lighting in a showroom is going to make colors appear different than they will at home and that's not taking into account the additional color shift from computer monitor color adjustments. We're very pleased.

The Safavieh Heritage Blue rug ordered is fine. We were a little surprised it was a darker hue than what is depicted but we are satisfied and it does meet our immediate need.

Rug is beautiful. Very thick and beautifully made. Wish I could keep it but colors don't work in my room.

This area rug exceeded my expectations for quality of materials and workmanship. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. We are very pleased with our purchase.
