When I think of Safavieh I think Beautiful! The Lantana silver plated garden stool is heavy weighing 21 pounds, the height is 18" and the width is 13" round, the appearance is 100% Beautiful and no I am not leaving this beautiful piece outdoors for the elements of Florida's brutal sun to change the appearance of this gorgeousness in anyway! I have been looking and looking forever for something to sit on as I apply my make-up in front of my magnified mirror. I was so lucky that this Lantana Plated Silver Stool is the absolute perfect height for the already mounted mirror. Good things come to those who wait and yes this was meant to be. Yay lucky me! The design and colors of the shiny silver plated material inner-twine with lines mostly throughout the stool, very attractive and perfect for the decor in my guest bedroom. Approximately 4" from both the bottom and the top of the stool the pattern is a bit of a different design then the rest of the stool. 4" on the top and 4" from the bottom are a soft smooth silver finish with decorative raised finger print size dots which circle around the stool. The pattern and colors are smooth to the touch on the silver but the swirls approximately 1/8" thick lines are of a flat grayish silver and are more coarse to the touch. A pattern in a circular form consists of 5 decorative punched out holes, I assume for if you were leaving the stool outdoors the water will not have standing water collecting on top of the stool. Equal type patterns apply to two sides of the stool, a little larger version then what sits on top, the pattern consists of two sitting side by side on both sides. Yes the stool is heavy yet hollow with a open bottom. Sturdy to sit on or place a plant on but not for standing on but why would you want to stand on such a beautiful piece? Lantana has made this beautiful decorative piece no matter what it is you choose to use it for, perhaps to sit on, place a plant on top or use it for a small table, The stool is heavy, sturdy, durable, strong and attractive. I'm pretty sure I can see me having and wanting the use of the Beautiful decorative piece for a lifetime. Love It!

This is a nice looking stool. The silver is a very nice silver and very shiny. I landscape it an oriental style and this fits well into the décor. It is made strong. If it is not needed as a seat it makes a very nice plant stand which l like it for.. I wish it took extreme temperature better so I would not have to bring it in at those times. I have a few of them to move.
