I ordered this rug because of the color - taupe/light brown. But you can see by the pictures that it is actually a green/olive green. But I kept it because it does look very nice with what I wanted to do. But the bad part is as you can see in the picture, with one-time vacuuming, the corner is shredding and the threads are coming out. And I don't even use a super-duper strong vacuum! I am going to try to repair the corner so it will last, but if it comes apart with a second vacuuming, I will return it to Home Depot. For the price, I really did expect better quality and longevity. So if you are buying this rug for the taupe/light brown color be aware. Maybe they shipped me the wrong rug in the green/olive green, I don't know.

This rug is very well made and came in a timely manner. I am quite pleased with the craftsmanship and the square 6x6 goes well in the room I just finished remodeling. The natural fibers are neutral and can go with just about anything. Highly recommend.

Really nice run. Looks exactly like the picture. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's really rough on your feet. I bought the runner for my hallway so my shoes are or socks are usually on when walking on it, but to me it's uncomfortable to walk on barefoot so I wouldn't recommend it for a family or living room.

Absolutely love this area rug! The woven fibers provide a nice texture and feel to your bare feet without being too rough. The grey edge/border provides a nice contrast to the marble/tan color. This area rug looks great in our kitchen (our dog loves it!) but can be easily be used in other spaces. I was pleasantly surprised with the overall "weight" of the rug. It weighs just enough to remain stable on the floor. Additionally, the rug also has a sewn in latex/rubber backing that resists the rug from slipping and wandering. Seriously, this rug has not moved since it was first placed, despite the heavy foot traffic our kitchen receives. -100% sisal (sisal/biodegradable sea grass/jute) -Backed with latex to prevent slipping and shifting of rug -Looks great! -Feels great!

Great quality and exactly as pictured

I like the feeling of this rug when I walk barefoot on it. It also has dark enough tones to be used as by a front door. My only concern is that the quality of fabric is no good, so i had to replace the first one i got as it came with a very visible defect. The second one looked better, but still not perfect. Expected better quality for the price

I rated this fair. The size and color were what I needed but the texture of this natural fiber is extremely rough and stiff. Walking on it barefoot almost made me return it. Think twice when buying a jute or fiber runner or rug.

Great rug! Got two, different sizes, for eating areas in open floor plan home. Needed a little something under tables that looked casual and durable in case of spills. Grey rug with black trim looks perfect with black metal fireplace surround and various furnishings with black metal trim. Very pleased.

Rug is very rough on feet and many pulls are appearing not happy with the material would not recommend

The edge is brown or taupe, but the sisal is green. Not at all like the pictures.

The rug was very nice looking but rather than being shipped rolled up, it came folded in a rectangular box. We have had it layed out under the dining room table for about 6 weeks already and the creases created by it having been folded have never gone away. For that reason we are disappointed. Hopefully it will eventually flatten but just be aware the shipping in this manner is a problem.

It is just what I wanted under my kitchen table. Cannot use vacuum on it tho.

This is an excellent inside rug to be used as a 'second doormat'. Rug is very well made, a little scratchy on bare feet but excellent to scrap the last of outdoor dirt off. Color is true to web representation. It’ll work for us for quite awhile.

Very nice looking rug, especially for an outdoor space.

Although I am keeping the Safavieh Natural Fiber Charcoal 3' by 5' Indoor Area Rug (Grey), I would like to point out a few of its characteristics that may be useful for those shopping online. First, the fiber of this rug is very rough and feels like rough plastic to the touch. It isn't comfortable to walk on with bare feet. Secondly, it is a pet hair magnet. My home has an open floor plan, so even though my dog is NOT allowed in my kitchen and I vacuum frequently, there are occasions when I find a bit of his hair in my kitchen. This rug seems to grab it right up. This rug vacuums easily. The color is rich and goes well with my black and stainless appliances. Along with this rug, I purchased the non-skid rug pad, also in 3' by 5', which needed to be trimmed, in order for it to fit under the rug without showing. I have selected that I would not recommend it; however, if softness and comfort isn't an issue, this is a well made rug that I expect to hold up under heavy traffic for a number of years, and I would recommend it where softness isn't desired/needed and the location where it will be used matches its characteristics. For example, I would select this rug for an entryway, where it would be useful in keeping debris from being tracked into the home.

When website says natural fiber it should be more detailed . Such as, not soft and will hurt feet if not wearing shoesI halfway opened the package and returned. Picture on line did not show well
