Very impressed with the Oak 2-shelf bookcase. The "X" design gives it a classic rustic look. Assembly wasn't too bad, except pay attention to which side will face the front as you assemble it. Otherwise, you might end up having some unfinished edges facing the wrong side. Other than that, I did not notice any ruff edges, especially after correctly assembled. It has a nice varnish on it that gives it a subtle shine and should help prevent any scratches. Overall, its a nice bookcase that should fit right in anyone's home.

It was very easy to put together, and was exactly the right height for my needs. It's very cute, but also sturdy.

It was easy to assemble and I like the color a lot but the top shelf was knicked up and it will be difficult to find paint or a marker that will cover it up. Because the top shelf that is the most visible it’s disappointing that it is scratched up especially when you pay so much for an item

Perfect size as a room divider between living room and dining room, Color goes greatly with wall color. We just put it together this past weekend so have only had it awhile, but are pleased with its sturdiness.

I bought 2 of the Liam bookcases, one is in my living room and the other is in my dining room/kitchen. I love the oak color and the linear design. The shelves are nice and deep and hold the largest of my books without them hanging over the edge. They were fairly easy to assemble, the second being easier than the first, obviously. Both are level and sturdy. You need to be careful to have the finished side of all pieces facing the correct way and that was somewhat challenging because they all seem to be finished on all sides. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This 2 shelf open concept wood bookshelf is very nice looking and happens to go well with the color scheme and flooring in our house. We considered putting it in a few different locations in our house, near the kitchen for cookbooks or in the living area for books and games. We finally decided to put the bookshelf in the master bedroom where we use the top shelf as a place to charge our phones and other electronics and the other shelves for some easy to reach books, a few DVDs and our electronic book readers. The assembly was very easy and took about 10 minutes with an electric screwdriver. The instructions were very straight forward and easy to understand. All the pieces were well labeled and the result is a great looking bookshelf.

$247.00 for THIS it was not painted they grey was more of a base coat drab not a complete paint job. The X bars on back are made of un-sanded wood I repainted mine it looks okay but wish I would have just refunded it completely. I was trying to post pic option not available

I really like the color of this bookcase, it's not too white and it's a perfect height. wish i had bought two.
