It's a beautiful, well made (better than expected for the price) piece of furniture. I bought two in french grey and I am delighted. The wood grain is beautiful. The color is lovely. I love the size and shape. It's a well-balanced piece of furniture. It comes fully assembled which makes it an exceptional deal.

The Jan Console is a very attractive accent table. It's a modern style yet has classic lines, such as the curved legs. Mine is in the French Grey finish. In my opinion, the color is a blueish grey, which complements the blue items I placed on it. I'm posting a picture so one can see it's size in relation to the objects I placed on it. I also like the small drawer that I can use for storage.

It has the perfect balance of rustic charm and versatile elegance. No assembly required. It's very solid in construction and does not wobble or tip as evidenced by quality testing performed by my 16 lb cat, who immediately tried to claim it. It's also not prone to scratching. The drawer is the perfect sized key and sunglass, front door catch-all. I tried to get a good picture of the perfect rustic finish to give you an idea of how the gray lays over a brownish undercoat, and coincidentally found a funny/spooky ghost-face (only I know it's there)!! LOL. I have the console paired with a wonderful quality "Cambridge" silver/ivory wool rug, also made by Safavieh, that just totally works! I love this new addition and the many compliments I have received about it!

Beautiful, well made, high quality, stylish design. The color pops; gorgeous. Arrived fully assembled and without any scratches, dinks, or damage. Well deserved, easy 5 star recommendation!

Exceeded my expectations!

Okay, this review actually should be for the CELEDON color, because that is what I eventually ended up keeping. But anyway, I will start here, because I ordered the French Grey color first. It took 3 tries before I got an acceptable table, but this was the precise size and style that I wanted, so I kept at it. Here was my experience: When I received "table 1", which was French Grey, I realized that it had a manufacturer defect. One of the legs was attached improperly. So I contacted Home Depot, and they arranged a free UPS pick-up return and then a full refund. It was a little bit of a hassle to re-box it and make sure UPS received it, but that was better than having to lug it to my nearest Home Depot (we live way out in the country). When I received "table 2", which was Celedon (my thinking - different colors are sometimes manufactured under different q.c.), I did not even have to open the box to know that it was completely broken. The entire box was torn and beat up. . .it looked like somebody must have thrown it down a flight of stairs. Also, it was obvious that the table had to be a return item from someone else's original purchase, because 2 outer edges of the box were cut all the way down (as in to take it out of the box) and sloppily taped back up. I opened the box anyway to find that the table was, indeed, trashed. . . .Another call to Home Depot. . .another free UPS pick-up and full refund. . . But this time, the CSR was kind enough to give me a great discount on one last try to order one of these tables in proper condition. Finally when I received "table 3", which is Celedon, I was relieved to find that it is well made and fully intact. PHEW! Now that I have an acceptable one, I like it allot. I wanted a mid-size demilune table that would stylishly compliment my simple farmhouse decor, and this table fits the bill nicely. It is solid wood, and if you get one that is correctly made, it should last a lifetime. I like how the paint has a slight rub-through effect, too. . .a lovely rustic touch. The Celedon color is BEAUTIFUL (soft green with the slightest tint of aqua), and French Grey (earthy grey with a touch of a teal tint) was also really attractive. I have researched this model from Safavieh on numerous different websites, and if you have as well, you will know that the names of the available colors seem to change everywhere you look. Home Depot's representation looks to be the most accurate. And be aware that the first 2 tables I received had sloppy (bubbled up/drippy/too thick) paint jobs where the sides of the legs join the skirt. But the one that I have kept is really well done. And lastly, I feel like the edges of the bottom shelf could have a bit smoother finish. However, for this price, you cannot beat the quality of this table. It is one of those easy pieces of furniture that you can enjoy as it is or refinish/repaint it without feeling like you got a bad deal. I am VERY pleased (finally). ;)

It’s solid wood and very sturdy. I’m not into the texture and color. Since it doesn’t come in white I simply bought it to repaint in white.

Comes assembled so that's nice. I will be returning this table. The finish is really cheap looking. Should cost less for the way this looks.

Color is true to online and very sturdy table. Looks very nice next to king bed. Color is a smoky grey blue that looks antique.
