Hello - Thank you for your review. Shedding is common in all Wool Rugs. What happens is there is loose wool and this will fall out. The most shedding will occur in the first few months. Over time, this will be less and less but it will still continue. This is also mentioned on the back label of your rug. Although the description said “light gold”, it was truly very bright! It was almost fluorescent in color and I took it back immediately. The color was all I noticed.
