It looks very nice but a bit busy. I'm thinking I'm going to need to repaint my cabinets and put a simple backsplash up. There are shimmering parts in the granite which looks very nice. the installers were nice and professional too. I really like how my island turned out. not so much with the rest, but hopefully with some changes it will look better.

New countertop and backplash transformed ny kitchen. It is niw modern and popping with beatuy! No short cuts were taken on this installed. You can see from the pictures. I could have used a short cut with an independent contractor, but work quality or guarantee could be a issue. I had a bad experience trying to do it myself by hiring a contractor. The contractor work was bad. I ended up spending more money on the project. I did not have this issue with using home depot and their contractors. They not out of the park. Just look at the pictures.

Sample arrived cracked.

We had this granite countertop installed 12 yrs ago when we had our house built. We had it installed in the kitchen & our master bathroom. I absolutely love it! It is so easy to clean. Ours is not "gritty" feeling unless sugar or salt gets spilled on it & you can't see it. I also love that you can put a pot on it straight from the stove and it doesn't hurt it! We have never had to seal it after the original installation. Best choice we made!

Excellent sample, the size was wonderful. I love the color and the markings in it. This is my choice, now I just need to save up some money to have my counter tops changed.

Sample gives us a better example for counter top selection. Arrived on time.

I received the sample timely, on dated estimated. I am disappointed that there w as no option to get a bigger piece. 3" x 3" is not big enough to really see the pattern. I feel the minimum to really see it, would be at least 3" x 6". There was no option to see the granite on a larger scale either (like a picture of it on a floor or a picture of a full slab) in order to compensate for the very tiny sample. The sample did show that the depth of the slab would be good.

I've had this countertop for two years and it has been gritty every single day despite daily dusting. It gives off grit and feels dirty all the time. If I could afford to have it ripped out and replaced I would do so. Terrible product.

The sample made choosing a counter top so much easier. It was wonderful to see 5he granite in my space, my lighting, all different times of day & night. I was also pleased to be able to take it to different tile stores so I could accurately coordinate colors. The sample was well worth the money

The sample gave me a clearer vision of what my purchase may look like. It helped me match up my area to be renovated. Now I am solid with my choice and very pleased with this purchase.

I had this counter top installed in my kitchen. I am so disappointed with the results. The sunlight from my window when it hits the countertop makes it look filthy dirty. It already has streaks in it that looks just terrible that will not wash off. Spent $3,000 on this countertop and I'm so unhappy with it. Biggest purchase mistake I ever made.

I love the color of the granite and having the sample helps me to match paint and flooring.

I AGREE THAT HOME DEPOT CHARGES A RIDICULOUSLY HIGH PRICE FOR THESE LITTLE SAMPLES. IF YOU GO TO A GRANITE WAREHOUSE, THEY WILL GIVE THEM TO YOU FOR FREE. THIS SOLARIS GRANITE WAS MUCH PRETTIER AND BRIGHTER WHEN I SAW AN ENTIRE SLAB AT THE WAREHOUSE. IT IS VERY ATTRACTIVE. THOSE SMALL SLABS CAN BE DECEIVING. IF YOU HAVE A WAREHOUSE NEAR YOU, THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO.

St Cecilia Granite Obviously, I purchased more than just the sample... This is a nice inexpensive granite that will work with most colors of cabinetry. We installed it in a bathroom with oak cabinetry and it looked really good, then installed it in a bathroom with painted sugar white cabinets with a distressed finished and it looked just as good if not better. We installed this material almost 7 years ago, have never had to seal it beyond the initial sealing when we installed it. The only thing I do not like is the fact that it is more pockmarked than I thought granite should be. Possibly it is a grade issue, but I wanted prospective purchasers to take that into account when they purchase.

I put Solaris in my condo kitchen and absolutely loved it!!! It tied all my work together beautifully! I installed African Ribbon Mahogany cabinets, a hammered copper sink with antique bronze faucet and had honey colored onyx tile on the floor. It was a stunning combination that drew top dollar when I sold. Everyone loved it!

It is a VERY SMALL sample piece and does little to show what it will look like. In addition to being very small it is very expensive for the little piece of stone.

We got To pick from several slabs. This granite is beautiful once it's installed! We love the color and Home Depot was great to deal with and really helpful. Thank you

After purchasing granite we went up to pick out slab and found that the store sample had much more character than the actual slabs available. Switched to a different granite. Be sure to go look for yourself before the granite is cut and installed.
