Very pretty but it has so many jagged edges and pots, that I don’t seeing it lasting very long. From them side areas, look and feel, like they cannbeeennfilled with dark, black epoxy. On th grey areas there is hardly an place that you can wipe with a towel that there isn’t white-grey epoxy catching on the cloth. This doesn’t seem like a $15k slab of granite. Run away, just rn away.

Couldn't be happier
We've had this for about 6 months now. 35sf L shaped counter. Came in 2 pieces and fit together great. The surface on ours has an extremely minimal amount of the little pits, and the few that are there are almost not noticeable. The general appearance is fairly consistent. Happy we made the purchase. Looks great with stainless appliances and our black granite sink.

best advice- view the slab before final selection
My most important advice is go and view the actual slab before making a final selection. You can't tell enough from just the sample and definitely not from pictures. I had picked several types I thought I liked. Went to see the slabs-changed my mind completely and picked this color which, based on the in store display and pictures, I didn't think I would like. The slabs look completely different and is ultimately, the actual look you will have.
As far as Bengal White, I am happy with it. I saw a review complaining of lots of pitting. Another reason to view and pick your actual slab. You can run your hand over it to see how smooth it is. Mine does not have excess pitting. I love it!

We had this product installed. Before doing so we asked whether the finished product would look like the 3"x3" sample we received- which had pitting in it- and were told no.
Wrong. The final product installed- it's very pitted. Surface is not smooth. Difficult to tell if something has spilled because of all the pitting. Microfiber cleaning cloths catch in it when we clean.
I guess it's a case of getting what you pay for. Perhaps if we had paid twice as much (which was well over $5K) we would have had a better outcome. Disappointing. Would not recommend. If you are going to spend this kind of money go with a better product and hopefully you will be happy with the results.

I understand the previous review and I did see a slab that had jagged/pots. Daltile was great at showing me how to pick out my slab and feel for pots, I got a great piece with no fillers. I am very please with this slab of Mystic Spring. You cannot see the true beauty of this stone on paper. I say pick out your slab and you will be pleased.

Given that there are so many varieties of stone out there that are beautiful in and of themselves, we were a little iffy about using a stone as plain as Azul Platino. On the other hand, we're remodeling our kitchen for resale, so we wanted something more neutral, aesthetically speaking, and the fact that this is about the cheapest granite available was a big plus too. In the end, we've been extremely pleased with our choice. Our Azul Platino counters look great, do a good job of balancing out the darker wood tones of the cabinets and floor, and coordinate beautifully with the tile we chose for the backsplash (the "Silver Canvas" glass mosaics here at Home Depot).
As far as the issues a couple of other reviewers had:
- We went to the fabricator's shop to pick our slab. From what we were told, Azul Platino is very consistent, but it's probably a good idea to always pick your slab, just to be sure.
- The surface of this granite does have some tiny pits, invisible to the naked eye, but which you can barely feel if you run your hand over it. The pits aren't consistent though. Some parts of the counters feel perfectly smooth, others less so, but still essentially "smooth". If that's a problem, maybe natural stone isn't the right choice for you. This is another situation where picking your slab is probably a good idea.
- As far as sheen, our counters are shiny, and that's the option we chose. If your counters were supposed to be shiny, but aren't, my best guess is that the fabricator messed up. Regardless, if you want shiny, Azul Platino can definitely deliver it.

Awesome look!
You won't be disappointed by this. It has quartz pieces embeddedded in igneous rock.

Imperfections looked totally out of place
Home Depot has been wonderful, its just the granite that didn't look like the samples. My recommendation to ANYONE is go and view all the slabs before installation! I would have cried if these got put in because it didn't look like the sample.
I understand that imperfections are "natural" and you can't help them sometimes, but my granite slabs had random dime sized rust (brown) spots on a white and gray countertop. Not cute or character adding at all, it looked like someone dripped soup on the counter. I chose a completely different style after viewing my slabs.

Horrible!!!
My granite countertops are very rough!! I can't even write on a piece of paper without my pen or pencil stabbing threw one of the many pits throughout. It's not even shiny!
