easy to use, self freezes and churns with timer so can make from milk shakes to hard ice cream in one machine. just pour in mix and set timer and u have excellent ice cream. when u make ice cream at home u want more..so hoped it would come in bigger size and make more ice cream but it shy of a half gallon. would like if paddle moved faster to make more whipped ice cream but otherwise the best for the money.

Biggest advantage over freezer drum container type electric maker is that you can make ice cream last minute. Combine your leftover broccoli, tuna noodle casserole and half and half and make green tuna noodle casserole gelato! (Lol).

Arrived broken with motor rattling around in motor housing (that black removable section on the top). This seems a weak part of the design.

This is a very good machine. We have made many quarts of really good ice cream with very little effort. Works perfectly. Recipes in the instruction manual are delicious.

This little ice cream maker has brought a lot of frozen, creamy happiness to our family and friends. It is great to have control over the ingredients, keeping it fresh, healthy and natural. It takes an hour or less, so is comparable to old fashioned machines, but without the cost of ice and salt. It looks good on the counter and is not as large and cumbersome as some people have described other brands.The price of the machine was very good compared to other brands and stores. My only wish is that it made more than 1.5 Qt/batch.
