[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a lots of places in our house that needs to be sealed. This sealant came as a life saver. It is very thick and needs a good quality caulk gun. It is little hard to press as my husband says but works well. He did the bathrooms and kitchen and it did wonderful job. The windows also had few treatments and I can tell the difference that I hear less noise from outside now. I recommend this to everyone.

Went on super smooth, stayed flexible and stuck to everything it touched...in a good way. Highly recommend for finishing your quiet zone.

When used to seal exposed and unexposed perimeter joints, floor and ceiling runners, veneer plaster or other areas where you may require sound rating, its perfect. It's a water-based sealant that seals properly and does the job well. It's also preferred because it doesn't crack or harden.

In fact, I've found a couple of other things to use this for. It's good stuff. I'd recommend that you give it some time to dry before anything. Doesn't take long to dry but just to be safe. Great product..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the OSI SC175 Draft & Acoustical Sound Sealant, 28 fl oz, Cartridge for our bedrooms upstairs to help with sound issues. We applied just above the moldings and around outlets. We did apply to the back of two sound proof panels to help defer sound. It works and we are very impressed with this product. Goes on easy. Drys pretty fast and does help with sound because I can no longer hear what's going on in other rooms, so now the kids can play and I can nap.

If you do the right configuration of the wall and seal any openings around outlets and electrical boxes this works wonders!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OSI SC175 Draft & Acoustical sealant in the 28 oz cartridge is easy to use. Insert in standard caulk gun and squeeze away. Product goes on nicely and seals up substantially sized cracks. I would recommend it.

As someone who does construction as well as remodeling with houses this is one of my favorite brands to use when it comes to this line of products.

It got really drafty when you were near because the ceiling wasn't insulated and led outside. You could see light. This solved that problem.

It was used to reduce the sound transmission between the rooms on the lower level of my home, and between the lower and first level. It was easy to use and adhered firmly to the wood and metal studs. Love that it does not shrink. Make sure to use a good caulk gun. It’s worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was try to mitigate foot falls from above a basement office and needed to keep headroom as high as possible. I used this OSI sound product as a decoupler between the floor joists and homasote sound board. I then used it again between the hoasote and sheetrock. All in all it worked pretty well. The large tubes made quick work and the product didn't sag off the joists before covering.

It will reduce drafts and sounds. It took about 3 days for it to cure for me. The instructions say 2 to 7 days. It is easy clean up with just soap and water. The application is simple. There are many uses but I used it for flooring. I would recommend this high quality product.
