I bought this stool for my kitchen island counter but it is too tall. Granted the item name reads “bar stool” so I guess I should have expected it to be bar height HOWEVER the description in the item specifications says this is a counter height stool. When I sit in this stool my legs touch the bottom of the kitchen counter. Not much clearance at all. My kitchen counter is 36 inches tall. Besides being too tall the seat is very narrow. I have another counter stool that I am trying out and that seat is 18 inches wide and is very comfortable. This bar stool seat is only 15 inches wide. It’s fine for me but for my 6’3 husband it’s not comfortable at all. The quality of the chair seems ok but as soon as I took it out of the box I noticed one of the back legs was cracked and there was a chip in the wood on the front. A couple things I do like about this chair is that it came fully assembled and it does look nice. So, if you’re looking for a stool mainly for aesthetic purposes, this is a good option. Just keep in mind it is a bar height stool and not very comfortable. I really wanted to like this stool but it turned out to be kinda disappointing. I will be returning.

This Safavieh bar stool is just what I needed to have by my wine bar. It is another fine product from this home decor company. The chair is all white with rattan body and cotton seat cushion. The seat cushion is over thirty one inches from the floor. It was a little hard to get up on it, but taller people should have no problem. This white rattan look reminds me of down at the seashore. It is a modern take on the old fashioned rocking chairs on the front porch. Comes fully assembled. Seat cushion is not removable. I will use a fabric protection spray as I always do on any light colored fabric.

The only thing that is preventing me from giving the Fremont White Cushioned Bar Stool 5-Stars is the stool is not quite level, a little wobbly. At first I thought it was my Floor but I did try placing the stool in several areas. Once I sit on the stool it's quite sturdy. The white cushion is permanently attached to the stool, temporarily covered with plastic. I placed the stool at the bar to give a visual of the height and size (42" tall, 31" height from seat to floor, 17" wide, 16" deep) in comparison to existing bar stools. My Wicker Fremont Bar Stool is actually for my wicker guest room. I needed the perfect piece for a empty corner. I love the handle being part of the back seat making it easy to slide the stool in and out. I'm not sure about placing my weight on the front wicker bar each time needing to hop on and off, I would suspect everyday use it would eventually give

Well built, with a nice metal bar for the foot rest, no assembly is required. The back is short, about 12 inches tall, and the seat is approximately 16 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches deep. This chair is intended for use with tall bar tables, not standard kitchen counter bar areas. The seat is 30 inches from the floor; standard kitchen counter is 36 inches high, so only 6 inches of vertical clearance for your legs to fit under the counter.

Ok chair, not worth the price. The color is not black - it’s a dark brown. I returned them.

Seems to be a well built chair. Back shorter than I prefer but is suitable. Little harder than I'm used too but over all is a sturdy nice looking stool

They are a little bit smaller than what I expected.

The chairs look great, comfortable with respect to the type of chair, light weight much easier to move then my older chairs.

Safavieh always makes beautiful products and these bar stools are no exception. The picture is very accurate and they look great in my apartment.

The seat is narrower than I thought. Sitting on it and staying seated without falling over proves to be a challenge. Otherwise, the overall construction and material used are both of high quality.

Love them!

The chair arrived (assembled!) exactly as pictured and looks nice. One of the legs came apart from the frame after two weeks and I glued it back. So far so good.

These bar stools are beautiful, however, the only con I have is that the seat is very small. I am a petite woman 5'2 and I barely fit comfortably on them.

This bar stool looks fantastic tucked under our island! It is very comfortable and feels like it was made with great quality. The color is a light greyed/textured fabric with dark wood legs, additionally it is lined with nailed heads. It originally looked like it was a bit tall, but we are able to sit comfortably at our island. The stool was also delivered in sturdy packaging - no assembly needed.
