Might be OK in a kitchen, but quality not good enough for dining room. I was prepared to order 10 chairs hoping 8 would be nice, but felt quality control was too poor to risk it. One chair had visible lumps where vinyl upholstery was stretched or twisted on installation. Also, "Flat Cream" upholstery was a lot shinier than I expected. Color was a lovely neutral cream and they did seem sturdy.

These two dining chairs are really nice! Classic lines, but something about them is modern, too and would probably go well in any room. Good neutral color, like oatmeal/beige, and no assembly, just right out of the box, very well padded in shipping. Arrived quickly by the way. They are comfortable and have straight backs. For now we are using them as accent chairs in our living room, until we need them for the formal dining table.

My wife and I picked these for the heads of the farm-style dining table I built. They were shipped very well and each chair comes fully-assembled. Inside the tough box, each chair was completely padded. Wood parts of the chair were wrapped in bubble wrap and the padded areas of upholstery where covered with cloth-type cover. I kept the covers in case I am doing some sort of work around them or for when we move one day. The chair are lightweight (~15 lbs each) which is great for sliding or moving around but are also solid. The legs run straight up into the back or front of the chair and there is no wobble. The upholstery is durable but smooth-feeling. They are comfortable to sit-in but I would not watch a football game in them. The seat is a little tight on my bottom but not uncomfortable. These chairs sit an inch or so higher than the four other chairs we have at the table but I can still slide under the table. We both like the style. They can fill a contemporary setting but the square top of the backrest has a modern feel. The olive beige is a little darker than the burlap runner we have on the table (see pictures). Color works great. Overall, these chairs look great on the ends of the table and make a great addition to the dining room. They are light, durable and comfortable for dining.

Chairs look great and match with my existing table really well. The seats bottoms are a tad bit smaller than I would like but otherwise they are comfortable.
