This is a great looking ottoman. The attention to detail on design shows on this ottoman, from the fabric selection, to the cutouts, and the silver nailheads that highlight the cutouts. It is crafted with solid wood and feels sturdy but yet light to move about and is rate for 120 lbs. This makes a great addition to our main family room. It provides a place to put throws, additional seating, and also as a footrest. This is a great looking ottoman and our friends cant believe we got it at HomeDepot. Very please with this stylish modern ottoman.

This Moroccan style ottoman from Safavieh adds a nice accent touch to many spaces. It's made of a light, yet solid wood, and covered with lightly padded cloth. This gives it a nice look and a nice texture. The overall design makes this makes this a focal piece in a room. The brass tacks all around the bottom arches give the ottoman a nice Mediterranean feel. The ottoman is a bit bigger than i expected, measuring in at 21 inches square. This is a strange size, as it is too large to be used as a simple foot stool, yet too small to be the centerpiece in living room or to stand in front of a couch. The height of the ottoman, however is spot on. It is sturdy and well built, and can carry a decent load. The bottom of the feet include plastic floor protectors. My main qualm about this piece is the top. To put it bluntly, this ottoman is HARD. The design gives the appearance that there is about a 3" pillow on the top of this ottoman. Wouldn't that have been nice! Yet this is very deceiving. There is a wood board in the middle of this "cushion," and the actual amount of foam on the top is less than an inch. So when one goes to sit on this stool, you get an unexpected hard thump, as of you were sitting on bench. This makes for quite unpleasant sitting. SUMMARY A sturdy, well designed ottoman that is visually unique and attractive. The curious size choice, along with a very hard top limit the practicality of this beautiful piece of furniture. Five stars for looks, and two for practicality.

This ottoman is beautiful. The color is very neutral and goes with everything. It is very well made.
