The colors of this rug are pretty true to the picture. It is maybe a little more toward sage than olive. It provides a nice accent without being too obtrusive in color or pattern. The wool is rather rough and not as dense as I would like but works just fine as an entry rug. It would be too scratchy for anyone doing activities on the floor.
