I previously had an S-Biner without a lock on which I zip tied to lock the bottom gate after I had a key escape. It worked ok, but sometimes the zip tie would slip. I was excited to find this locking version, but it hasn't performed as well as I'd hoped. After about a year of normal use, I noticed the locks started slipping out of place just from daily activities. (I should have secured the gate myself right away, but didn't.) With this design, when the lock slips, it can get stuck at the end of gate, propping it open to catch a key ring in the latch, making it less secure than the unlocking version. After a few near misses, I finally lost an expensive car key that way and rage-duct-taped the gate closed. I would strongly recommend against this model for carrying keys and would consider the G-Series instead.

I have seen 2 styles on the market, one that locks closed and one that does not lock. I like the one that locks closed better.

I Love these clips and the ability to lock. I have only had these for a couple weeks but believe they will last forever! Only bad thing is I wish they were just a little bit bigger! No more losing my keys!

These things are perfect for going bike riding. I can lock the rest of my keys in my vehicle and just take my car key with me. Similarly If I want to open the side door of the garage I don't need to take all of my keys. These are a lot smaller than I thought (see pic) and a lot better quality than I assumed. I've since bought several more of these. They are really handy

Just what I was looking for. Definitely a MICRO S-BINER Even though it is listed as holding 3 lbs it is small, less than 1 1/2" long. Although so small it holds all the keys I need along with some store cards without a lot of bulk. It is plenty strong and its locking design is also strong. I honestly think it would reliably hold more than 3 lbs but who carries 3 lbs of keys?

Useful in so many ways where a simple carabiner won't do. The lockout feature keeps stuff secure when in places where things could be lost if a snaphook opens inadvertently. Carry at least two on every backpacking adventure. Just another great tool from Nite-Ize.

This product is a lifesaver! No more lost keys due to cheap carabiner keychain clips. The locking mechanism prevents keys from falling off belt loops. Don't be fooled by imitation products. Nite Ize makes the best product out there.

So far so good, no issues , good working mechanics and the S shape allows for keys to be on one end and latch on buckel with other side perfectly. No issues

I really like the easy to flip yet strongly locked in place locking mechanism for added security. And the small design makes it great for use on my lanyard with all of my keys

I use these when I take my dog to the beach as all the other leash attachments get clogged with sand. These are great! Strong, easy to open and close, and no issues with sand and dirt getting in.

I purchased these to replace the much smaller clips on my resistance bands. The Nite Ize clips are bigger and much easier to use and so far they have been strong enough to use with my bands.
