These are nice sturdy rods with quality finish and beautiful finials. They come with all the necessary mounting hardware (3 brackets with #8 1.5 inch screws). The drywall anchors that are supplied are not particularly very strong. I would recommend purchasing good quality anchors if not mounting on studs. Only reason I knocked off a star from my review is the spacing between the 2 rods. It is a little over an inch. This is bit of an issue as the front curtain and back sheers keep running into each other and don't move as freely as one would desire.

It's hard to find double curtain rods in finishes that are not very popular. I like this design, but it has a few drawbacks. The most important one is the fixed small distance between the outer and inner rods. I wanted grommet top curtains and their fold depth is larger than the distance between the rods. The result is squashed sheer curtain folds on the inner rod and obstructed movement of the blackout curtains on the outer rod: the two sets of grommet curtains catch each other. Another issue is a different type of a clear gasket on the two rods at the connection of telescoping parts. I would also prefer the screws anchoring the rods to be on the inner side rather than being exposed (less ornamental) and having some kind of a gasket at the tip so the rod's finish does not get scratched so easily during the installation. I wish there was an option of a double traverse rod in a modern style and not in brushed white metal finish. Or an option to add a modern cornice in various finishes. The builders forget to place studs symmetrically around the window frames, so brackets supporting the rods from below make it impossible to place them, where the studs are without losing optical balance.
