Customer Reviews for Oakland Living Rochester 9-Piece Patio Dining Set with 2 Swivel Chairs and Cushions

I purchased a patio set (Oakland Living) from Home Depot and within 18 months the coating on the chairs and table started flaking off in large strips causing the metal to rust. In some areas the coating was coming off in 2 foot long strips. This was happening on every piece of the 9 piece set. You can see if bubbling up in areas and then it just flakes off. We covered the set in the winter so it was only exposed to the elements from spring to fall. We have a small table and chairs that we bought from Home Depot in the front of the house and it still looks good after 12 years. Contacted the manufacturer and she told me that outdoor furniture rusts and I was past the 1 year warranty. She sent me a nail polish sized bottle of touch up paint. I would have needed hundreds of these to fix the set.

This was the biggest peice of chinese junk I have ever seen. Horrible in every way. The chairs are uncomfortable, the legs of the table are to short, and you have exposed gold colored bolts on all the chairs and table legs. Do not buy this under any circumstances.

The seat cushion is already ripped and the legs on the table were sent bent, but it took too long to put together so I am stuck with it....
