Stick with what works
I have always used wax rings, but for some reason, I figured I would try one of those new fangled plastic rings that are flooding the market. Spent $12 on a trash can decroatian because the toilet would not sit even close to flush on the floor. We t back to HD and pi ked up to good old wax rig, and walla, sits perfect and no leaks. I have never encountered a problem with these rings, so not sure why I tried something else, but like they say, live and learn.

Shipped cheaper item
I ordered a Fluidmaster reinforced wax ring with a 10-year warranty but received an Everbilt product with a 5-year warranty. The Everbilt sells for around $5 while the Fluidmaster is around $9. This is definitely a bait and switch situation! I’ll be returning this item.

Had to wait a week to get the product into my local HD for pickup. Also might want to consider ss anchor bolts as the bolts supplied will just rust solid sooner than later requiring hacksaw blade to remove/replace. Glad I am not a plumber.
Overall, product quality is good. A challenging repair job for one DIY with limited space to work in.

Tried to use the wax less seals, but didn't work for me. This seal works fine and the toilet flushes great.

I first tried a fluid master rubber ring which I had on hand but since my toilet flange is above the floor it made the toilet sit way above the floor. So I bought this stand size wax ring, put it the flange and lowered the toilet onto it, rocked just a little and tighten the bolts and no leaks.
