Absolutely beautiful!! The wood work and the fire

My wife and I assembled the fireplace in 2 hours. High quality and Looks great!

This is a beautiful addition to my all seasons room. I am 62 years old with moderate arthritis and was able to put it together by myself without any issues. Easy to read directions, easy to operate and very appealing to look at. I've ordered lighted garland for the mantel but it hasn't arrived yet. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

My husband bought me this fireplace. He was out of town when it arrived, so I decided to try and put it together myself. It was so easy to do, pieces went together easily and the directions were very easy to read. It took me about an hour and a half. I just love it, it is exactly what I wanted. My husband was surprised when I sent him a photo of it all put together and decorated for Halloween.

I love this fireplace. I would have rated it excellent but putting it together we discovered it was missing a critical part and had to make an adjustment rather than send back and all that entails. It was also missing 1 piece.

Very nice high quality electric fireplace. We purchased this for our formal living room. It really finishes the space nicely and really makes the room stand out now. The heat and flame are adjustable and includes a timer, the heater blower is very quiet. This is a very well put together unit, shipping was fast and this came in two boxes. The instructions are very well laid out and the parts are well marked for easy assembly which took about 1 1/2 hours at a leisurely pace. I would highly recommend this fireplace you will not be disappointed.

I love this fireplace. It's gorgeous & has some heft to it. It's not a corner piece - but I placed it in a corner and it looks fabulous. Elegant, cozy. My husband ( who is fairly handy ) had no problem putting it together in less than an hour. It is definately a dark rubbed ebony- which is what I wanted. It's not brown. I love the authenticity of the firescreen. What a wonderful finishing touch. I'm head over heels in love with it !

I agree with other viewers that it was easy to assemble. It is in my bedroom and fits the space nicely. However from day one the remote does not work to turn it on. I called the company and they told me to unplug it for 24 hours and go through the pairing procedure which I have done many times. The remote will work to change features and to shut it off. However when I wake up in the morning and try to turn it on from the bed or walk right in front of it the remote will not turn it on. I have to manually push the on button. The flame is quite fake like a cartoon but on a dim light setting and the screen shut it looks more realistic. The biggest problem I have with the unit is the sound of the drum in the fireplace that makes the flames flicker. You can hear the rotation of it churning and at night when the heater is off and you want ambiance it is quite annoying sound. The blower is loud but I am ok with that as it does produce a good amount of heat and fast. I think for the price I shouldn't have to hear the whirring sound of the drum and that the remote should work. I do like the look but I think I would of looked at other units had I known. I have not contacted the manufacturer to ask if the whirring sound of the drum is normal as my first experience with them regarding the remote was not enjoyable.

The fireplace was easy to assemble and directions were good. The only problem I had was a slight damaged corner in the mantle piece when shipped. I reported it and Home Depot sent me an email to hopefully get the mantle piece replaced. I just haven't had a chance to do that yet.

I really pleased with this product, looking so natural and fancy. i recommend this to all.

After reading all the reviews and not finding what I wanted in local stores, I decided to order the fireplace. I would have rather seen it for real than go by the pictures online, but I was quite happy and relieved when it was completely put together. It is beautiful and does not look cheap...which was my main concern. Adds a nice touch to our small living room. I thought the price was great too. Assembly was easy. Nice to have a remote to use. I'd recommend this product!

After doing tons of research, I am so glad we went with this one! It was pretty simple to put together and very sturdy. Not to mention, it looks great. The different settings are great and the heat it gives off is perfect for what we needed. We have central heat, but in our living room we have a big sliding glass door. This fireplace will give us the extra warmth we need in there.

This piece has some great features with ambient lighting and temperature control. Takes some assembly, but only took about 30 minutes to assemble, and was quite simple.

My wife was thrilled with the look and the fact that it is able to supplement the heat in this room.

The Real Flame Ashley Electric fireplace is exactly as advertised. The look is a very professionally finished piece which fits perfectly in our Great Room. The firelogs give just the right glow because the intensity can be dialed in with the remote, which handles a number of excellent functions. The heater function is responsive with a variable speed fan for just the proper amount of heat for any occasion. The old gas fireplace was cranky and dirty to work with...our new electric fireplace is clean and efficient and helped by creating a double mantle effect when added to our current mantle. The assembly was absolutely one of the best parts of the experience. The instructions were easy to read, the correct number of pieces were included and the craftsmanship in the construction was very precise. All in all, this was one of the best engineered units I could imagine. As our picture shows, the Ashley is a beautiful addition to our home.

Firstly, the product came packaged very well and without a scratch. It was easy to put together and the quality of the product is stellar. It is definitely worth the price and looks great and works great.

Easy installation! Looks great and works well. We wanted to make this fireplace look more permanent so we put a lovely granite top on it and floor around and in front of it. We also put it on it's own 20 amp breaker so that we don't have a problem with it popping breakers because of some overload appliance, etc. In our county we no longer can have real wood fireplaces (or even pellet) and everyone is going with gas or electric. Our realtor friend says that the way we have installed it will add value to our (former fireplassless) home. (We'll see) So far this seems to be quite economical and does a good job of heating the room. I love the different settings for heat and for the flame. It is important to have the remote control because it can be hard to stoop over and read the buttons. The flame and glow is so realistic and really surprises our guest that it can actually mimic a real wood fireplace so well. It's also realistic when you turn it off, it slowly glows down and has that ember-like look as a fire goes out. - This unit definitely earns the 5 stars,

Love this fireplace. My husband and I put it together in about 1/2 hour. Sturdy materials. I recommend putting it all together without tightening the screws. It helps when you are lining it up that you can still adjust where needed. I also recommend having a rag handy as the screws and washers have a slight coating of oil. I love all the features and how easy it is to use. We have had it all winter and use it every day without any issues. It takes the chill out of the basement and if we close the door to the room it heats it up quit nice. I love how it looks in our master bedroom, which is cottage styled. It has really pulled the look together. Only downsize is that the blower is a little noisy but it is a fake fireplace so really what did I expect. It's not loud enough that it is a nuisance. Just loud enough to notice.

This was an awesome Christmas present from my brother this year. He put it together in about 45 minutes and all I did was make dinner. My two feline roommates hung their stockings hoping for treats on Christmas morning, but this one just wanted to wait for Santa Claws. She obviously feels very comfortable in front of the fire and lays there constantly. The firepit is about 13 inches deep which adds depth to make it look so real. The flame is realistic and has 5 levels and the heater has 4. It fits the wall perfectly. The wood is beautiful. The remote control allows me to sit on the couch and veg for hours. The only thing I would change if I invented it, would be to put the heater fan below the firepit instead of above it. Heat rises...feet get cold. I would definitely recommend this fireplace.

The fireplace arrived well packed and in excellent condition. So far we are pleased with our purchase. The installation instructions were easy to follow.

The Real Flame Ashley 48 in. Electric Fireplace in white looks absolutely amazing. The design has character instead of being just a square box. It was easy to assemble and fit perfectly in our home. We’ve had it for several weeks and it heats our living room, dining room and kitchen perfectly and quickly.

This fireplace looks real and the flames really do flicker like real flames. It is compact but gives the bedroom a cozy feel. It is good quality and having the remote is very convenient.
