I bought two cabinet, this one(ready to assemble) and premier pre-assemble wall gearbox, but the color difference is obvious. The silver of the first cabinet is gray-black, not silver. It doesn't have metallic texture and brightness. when i put two cabinet together, the color look very different from each other. Ready-to-Assemble Full-Door one looks terrible.

overall satisfied, only downside to me was hanging with out the track system. would have been an added plus to include screws for this and also a slightly better design on back for screws. they had a few holes for drilling to wall but you had to follow the stud and couldnt place anywhere you want. considered buying the track system for this hut hung on one i currently own and it tilted forward without placing something behind the bottom of the cabinet. over all satisfied but providing better hardware for self hanging OR something to place on bottom corners to keep from tilting I might have gone ahead and bought more track

I have a new garage that needed storage cabinets. The Gladiator cabinets fit the bill. Following the directions the cabinet went together easily and was easy to to attach to the gear wall system. The only shortfall for this cabinet is that it is made from lighter gage steel that other brands, but it is a solid cabinet for a home owner.

Simple, easy, look good. I needed more space in my garage and these wall cabinets did the trick.

Love the boxes and product..... Just wish the exterior powder coating (silver tread) on doors was a little tougher. They stain from touch a little easier than I'd like.

These ship great and have a flat bottom inside. Much better than the pre Assembled ones that all had to be returned.

Shipped to the store on time. Easy to assemble. Noticed they went on sale a week later. Emailed Home Depot and the refunded me the difference. Thank you again. I had to change the color of the doors. Working in a collision shop had its perks.

Remember to buy a rail so it can be hung. Looks great, as with all gladiator products, snd easy to assemble.

I bought two of these to help with organization. Coupled with a few other items really brought my garage organization to the next level.

I picked up 9 of these. The directions say to leave the corner screws loose until the rear is installed. I used a carpenter's square to true up each corner and tightened everything up before installing the rear. There are 4 holes along the back edges of the top and bottom of the cabinet. When you install the rear make sure the holes on the top and bottom of the back line up perfectly with those holes. This ensures the cabinet is truly square and these are the holes I used to mount them to the wall. I lag bolted a 2 x 3 to the wall studs at both the top and bottom instead of using the rail system they came with. I mounted the cabinets to the wall before installing the shelves and doors. From box to mounted, including the 2 x 3s it took less than 8 hours. The metal seams a bit thin and will bend if abused but once the cabinets are assembled they firm right up and look pretty good.

We purchased two of these cabinets for our garage. They have a lot of storage and you can move the shelves inside up and down depending on what you are putting into it. It was easy to put together and installation onto the gear tracks was simple with the hook on the back. Would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Full-Door Wall GearBox! I already have the rolling toolbox and it was getting a little cramped for space. Once I put up the GearBox I was able to neatly put all of my drills, battery chargers, and bit boxes neatly inside for easy grab and go use and has helped me to maximize the space in my garage. The GearBox is very easy to assemble and install and does not carry a lot of weight. It took me maybe 15 minutes to put it together and installation was as simple as finding the perfect spot on my GearWall for it. It hooks to the GearWall just like any of the other hooks, baskets, etc. It looks awesome as well. I’m extremely happy with the GearBox!!

The item took a little time to put together, but it was not difficult at all and the directions were exceptional. I hung this on the wall to replace a less-than-attractive shelving unit which had worn out. This cabinet has two shelves to adjust how you please. I ended up removing one shelf and creating a larger bottom shelf to accommodate big bottles I wanted to store. I just love how versatile it is! The doors are also heavy and high quality and all I have to do is give them a simple push and the magnetic piece inside finishes the closure. This is an all-around great product and it's quality you would be proud to use or give as a gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We obtained the "Ready-to-Assemble Full-Door Wall GearBox" about 3 weeks ago to complement our existing thirteen year-old Gladiator cabinets, workbench and under workbench gear drawers for our tools. When we decided to move recently, the Gladiator GarageWorks was the only "furniture" we kept, really... As a technical writer by profession, when I opened the box I saw EXACTLY what I wanted to see... components, a clear set of parts and instructions. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Not like the hieroglyphic "instructions" you get from that big box Swedish store for their products. We did experience one minor issue during assembly. When we installed the doors according to the instructions, they wouldn't close properly. At first I thought I assembled the sides of the box upside down. It turns out the table I assemble it on was a bit warped and I think that caused the box to not be "square". We checked that, made some adjustments and then simply adjusted the doors and tightened down the screws on the door hinges. The doors work fine now.

These 2 gearboxes were easily hung side by side on Gladiator Gear Track. The boxes were packed well with no damage on arrival. The directions were easy to follow and the assembly was straight forward. Each box hung on the gear track with ease and fit snugly without any instability. I am impressed with the quality of the construction of the components - they are light weight but come together to form a solid cabinet that should last for years. The 3 shelving areas provide ample space in length and depth to store any range of work bench essentials. The shelves themselves seem like they could hold significant weight without any issue. The doors swing nicely and shut securely. Adding to the quality is the overall steel studded look that makes these cabinets look like they belong in my man cave. As the name "Gladiator" implies, these cabinets have the look, feel, and quality of a workbench that will not disappoint. Thus is my second work bench area with Gladiator cabinets which speaks for itself - it is my "go to" for my home storage needs because of the unsurpassed quality at this price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This metal cabinet took about an hour to assemble. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully. The cabinet can be mounted directly to a wall or hooked onto a GearTrack. The instructions state that you need 2 GearTracks, the lower one used as a spacer so the cabinet hangs straight. We made our own spacer out of a block of wood because our GearTracks aren't hanging on top of each other. It comes with two removable shelves, and we decided to just use one to fit the items we have in it.

Each piece has a picture of where it fits which we found helpful. We installed our GearBox on our existing GearWall and it was a perfect fit. It feels very sturdy on the wall. The doors operate smoothly and you can move the shelves to adjust for taller items. It looks great with the other items on the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a garage full of pre-assembled Gladiator cabinets along a wall of my garage. I jumped at the chance to review the Ready-to-Assemble unit and see how they compare to my existing pre-assembled cabinets at a 35%-40% lower price point. Assembly took approximately 40 minutes including unpacking and organizing the materials and the parts. The packaging was done very well and there were no damaged parts; nothing bent or scratched. I was impressed that there was 1 extra set of hardware for each screw or washer type required for the cabinet. I get to toss them into my spare hardware bucket but did not have to go scrounging for a screw or even worse going to the hardware store or calling the maker!! The unit came together very easily. In normal 'caveman' fashion I ignored the instructions and tried to put do some of the build with the unit standing up and struggled trying to keep everything straight and standing without a third hand. A quick look at the instructions straightened me out!! I laid the unit down on the empty box and the back slipped right in place. The back pieces slide upward into notches on the back with is initially counter intuitive until realizing at the end of the build that the back and not the frame carries the weight of the cabinet when hung on the wall. Standing the unit up on the box and turning around to put the doors in proved to be a little challenging. 1) the unit may be slightly racked / out of square even with the back installed; 2) the doors need to be centered between the top and bottom of the opening so the door does not drag or rub on the cabinet; 3) alignment of the doors to each other. I put in 2 screws in the hinge to hold the door on. I used a small piece of wood as a spacer under the door to hold it off of the bottom of the inside of the cabinet. Then I pushed on the outside corner to make the door square in the opening (same parallel gap at the top and bottom of the door. Tightened the middle screw and tested door adjusting up/down slightly to center in the opening. Added/tightened remaining screws. Next did the same thing with the 2nd door and really focused on aligning the tops of both doors so they would match. This was not overly difficult but did take the most effort / time out of the whole build. Comparing this unit to my existing cabinets turns out to be not quite apples to apples. The are not as sturdy but they are also have a lower weight rating (150 lbs vs 200 lbs for the pre-assembled). My sturdy comment is only because it is not welded together and you can force some movement if you try. This is not really relevant for a wall cabinet though as it will only see use through the amount of weight and the opening/closing of the doors. I don't consider this a detractor. These units do not have locks (I don't use the locks on a majority of my cabinets). My only real concern with the cabinet is the hanger. The hanger uses the back wall of the cabinet to hang the wall bracket. I would've thought this would be in the frame. I'm sure it will carry the load though and wouldn't hesitate loading it up. I really like the lower price point, ease of assembly, look and feel as well as the functionality. The spare screws and they organized way they were packaged was a nice touch. Overall I will consider these as I finish out my shop. They provide a good value option over the pre-assembled units allowing me to go farther within my existing budget.

They are designed and constructed with thought and excellent materials. I have added to my collection for that very reason.We also have units in my wife's art studio. Our latest addition that just arrived is serving a much needed role in storing our paints and supplies. The rest of our units store everything from tools, auto parts, to papertowels, soap, lubricants etc. etc. etc.
