An important fyi for anyone looking at the "quick hold" closers.
* DOES NOT OPEN 90 DEGREES *
The description explains that the quick hold feature activates at 75 degrees but what isn't noted is that this is the maximum amount you can open the door.
Ordered two of these online and only discovered this after installing one. I now have to travel 3 hrs to the nearest store to return.

Works great!
The door closer for my screen door no longer worked so I needed a replacement. Unfortunately it seemed that Home Depot no longer carried this door closer in brown in their stores. They do carry black, white, and grey versions. I ordered this online and the product came very quickly - within a few days of ordering.
The door closer itself was very easy to replace. All you need to do is unscrew the old closer and screw in this new closer in the frame and screen door.
At first it was difficult to rotate the cylinder properly so that the quick hold feature was activated. I eventually got it and the quick hold definitely works. You need to open the screen door to the right position and with the right pressure for it to work.
A slight problem that I found was that if I want to use the tab instead of the quick hold, I need to push the tab all the way to the end and beyond the grove for the door to fully close. With my old door closer, I didn't have to do this. I wish there was a way to adjust the location of the cylinder so that I could fix this without making new screw holes in my screen door.
All in all, it's a great product and does the job.

Does not stay open as advertised
Will not "hold open" as advertised no matter how the hydraulic cylinder is rotated.

Junk - Don't buy it
Supposed to "click" and then hold the door open. It doesn't. No matter how much you turn the rod around. They also give you one of the little metal holders like the old style. Probably because the "click" mechanism doesn't work. Will I take it back? No. It's not that big a deal. Just don't buy this.
