one counter installer told me that some people are experiencing cracking from hot water and such and at first I was worried. After using it I am extremely happy with this sink. It stays beautiful and clean without any scrubbing and is very stain resistant. I've poured boiling water in the sink and it has not affected anything. Great value for the money!

I love this sink. Perfect for canning and other things that requires large pots. The color is great with my new granite countertops. I was able to bathe my Havadoodle, Bentley in it. It is big and impressive!

I love how deep it is making it very convenient bto soak something if needed or have a lot of dishes they most definitely will fit. It's a such a nice look with the underneath style creating a seamless appearance between the sink and the countertop. This Elkay Quartz Classic Black Sink is just the Perfect size for any job . The single Bowl made it very easy for me to do my job and had plenty room to move around to clean each dish very well . Fitted my oversized pots as well made my after picnic dish clean ips very easy. The Elkay Quartz Classic Black Sinks is very easy to clean and its stain resistant . Also can handle heat , and scratch resistant as well . It's a pretty remarkable well made Sink safe up to eat to 535 * Fahrenheit, it , resist banging, chipping , liquid won't stick it or food , that's a plus for me and my big family of kids , Another thing I love about this Elkay Classic Sink is the OffSet Drain, gives you more space at the bottom of your drain and it smoother no drain port in the way . The Bowl to the sink is very deep super deep you can just about out any kitchen pot, dish you use . Great for me cause I love to bake and my pants fit great in it it's a great product and to me it will last a life time .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the undercount black sink. It makes it easier to clean around the edges of the sink, and I like having a single basin. The black is a nice classy color, and makes my cottage look nice and new. I used this in a cottage we are remodeling and this is a great added touch.

I bought this sink to install with my new granite counter tops. 4 moths later i was making pasta and poured hot water into the sink and it cracked. I contacted Elkay and they told me homedpot had received a shipment that they had "concerns" about, they would not say defective!!! They are asking me to send in the info and they will ship out another sink. I asked the customer service rep what would they do if this happened again because it cost me $550 to have the replacement sink installed. Pretty crummy to begin with that i am out of the money because of their defective sinks and now i am in a situation where they will not refund me the money and am forced to install another one of their sinks and gamble it wont happen again. Buyer beware!!!! I had a composite sink for 8 years and never had any issues now after a new kitchen install i have to fork out an additional cash to address a problem i should have never had to deal with. Spend the extra money and buy a name brand that has a good reputation. Needless to say i am really upset and as a consumer i have no way to recover any of the money that shouldn't have had to spend. *see photo of crack marked with red crayon, parts of crack would not hold wax as it wet between...

I bought this sink as part of a major kitchen remodel. The sink is well made. The color is rich. Materials are excellent. It nicely sets off our countertop. I'd recommend this sink.

The color and size of this sink is on point for what I wanted. However, it is not stain resistant as advertised. I’ve been using this sink for 6 months and have noticed more and more hard to remove stains. The bottom of the sink has stains I cannot remove at all. I should add that I don’t leave food in the sink. I wash the sink out several times a day always rinsing soap and food debris down the drain. The look is exactly what I wanted but I’m not satisfied with the material staining.

Absolutely beautiful and so easy to maintain. Love the single bowl. Great price at Home Depot and it arrived on time. Definitely would recommend.

We have only had our sink installed for a month now, but we absolutely love it! The color (Greige) is perfect for the look we wanted. Greige is a warmer toned gray and works well for a modern rustic style. The depth of the sink allows for full submersion of a stock pot and the size is great for washing large items. So far, no stains and it cleans up beautifully! If you are undecided on color, you can go to the Elkay site and order free color chips. I would caution to stay away from dark colors as they tend to show water marks and look dirtier.

This Elkay sink does not offer a disposal flange to fit with the most common insinkerator disposals. This is absolutely ridiculous. This means you have to install a differently colored flange and then add their Elkay disposal drain catcher to sit on top. This traps water and debris in it and looks like absolutely junk. What a poorly designed sink and accessories offering! SO DISAPPOINTING.

Good quality sink. Materials and build are top notch. Do note that the color and texture in the photo is more uniform and smoother than in person. Still a beautiful piece but the actual sink has some green-ish flecks mixed in and a slightly textured grain. Again, a beautiful piece but needs to be seen in person vs in a photo to make sure it matches what you're expecting.
